List of Jonathan R. Mason's Reviews
Came to Dr Mason for a W/C Neck Injury and he was very professional and thorough.
I made an appointment to get an assessment of previous surgical work and whether more was now needed, years later. Dr. Mason was terrific! He really listened to me, understood my concerns, and suggested an approach that I was very happy with!
My visit with Dr.Jonathan Mason was great. He was so pleasant and took the time to fully explain his diagnosis with concern. He also offered suggestions to help my issue. Even though he couldn't help me he referred me to another specialist. He didn't just dismiss me ! Thank you Dr. Mason
GREAT DOCTOR
Dr. Mason is always professional. He explains in layman terms, so I could understand what he was explaining to me.
It would be a zero, the worst experience, ever the doctor, was so unconcern, could not tell how to get better don't really think he care.wast of time with no answers,
Three appointments, the first two were full of hope and promise to help my wife get some relief from constant neck pain. Discussion about surgery and the benefits it would bring. Third visit, after physical therapy and an MRI, dropped us like a hot brick! "Not a good candidate for surgery because she smokes". Could have told us that on the first consult and saved time, money and anguish. Not impressed. Almost impossible to contact the practice by phone and promised return calls from his staff just didn't happen.
I went to see Dr. Mason for a consultation after an Xray and MRI showed severe disc degeneration and facet arthropathy. After quickly determining I wasn't a candidate for surgery at this point (which I agree with), he seemed bored and dismissive. I had to ask if there was anything else that could be done to help with the pain and he went to get a handout of exercises that he wouldn't have offered otherwise. The whole visit took six or seven minutes, tops, and his office charged me $497. Insurance only covered $300 so I'm stuck paying $200 for a completely useless consultation. My suggestion is to only see this doctor if you already KNOW you need surgery and KNOW you want him to perform it, or if you have so much money you don't mind wasting it on a consultation.
I have had back pain for as long as i can remember. (I'm 74 now). Because of my dad's experience with back surgery, I delayed even considering that until my pain was so bad i could hardly walk more than 100 yards. I finally went to see Dr. Mason, and after some non-surgical treatment, we decided surgery was necessary, and was performed on March 7, 2022. I just wanted the pain to abate enough so i could live a relatively normal life. I didn't expect what i got... after a short recovery period, absolutely no pain, none. It was magic. Dr. Mason gave me a new lease on life and i will be forever grateful.
This is such a great practice with great people and Doctors!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
