Recieved a letter in the mail that they has sent me regarding "important information " They claimed to have tried to contact me several times but I had not received one call or notice from them. It turns out that they hadn't updated my profile with my new phone number even though I had told them my new number at every appointment since it had changed.I arrived late to my appointment, so the receptionist asked in a snooty tone "Is it alright if we take the people who got here on time for their appointments?" I reluctantly agreed, but was pleasant. Waited for over an hour before he would see me. I was taken in and requested a pregnancy test,but that's all they would do. It came back negative. I was talking to the nurse about my period just stopping and the symptoms that I was having and am still having to this day. She dismissed a lot of my questions because I wasn't throwing up. Just an fyi, I have thrown up like 3 times in my whole life from food poisoning and nothing else. Dr. Aamdopt Came in and I gave him my void diary to give to my gynecologist because every time I try to make an appointment she is on "vacation " I told him everything and asked him questions and he acted like I was being crazy and just completely dismissed my concerns and claimed it was my birth control. I have been on the same one for roughly 2 years and it is a very small dosage, Cryselle .3mg/.03mg, because I have a sensitivity to estrogen. If my birth control were to stop my period it would have stopped it almost as soon as I got onto it. Not wait 2 years to and then out of nowhere. I asked him about being tested for PCOS and Endometriosis because my mom has it and I thought I might have it because of genetics and a few of my symptoms match, but he was very reluctant to answer any questions or perform any tests. All they did was give me a menstruation chart to film out which I can't because I'm not having a period. Overall very dissatisfied with the service and how he handled the situation. I left the office angry and more confused than ever. Overall very dissatisfied with the office as a whole with my experiences and being treated like my concerns and questions don't matter. They just try to get patients out of the way so that they can get their job done faster.

Dr. Amodt and everyone at his office is very professional, caring, and knowledgeable. They took amazing care of me through two complicated pregnancies and continue to provide excellent care.

Great group of staff members from check in through check out-professional & courteous. Love the nursing staff, very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.Dr. Aamodt- very professional, personalized care, good listener to your concerns; makes you feel very comfortable before, during & after yourexam. Excellent in explaining procedures, problems/concerns & treatment options; guiding you on what he considers your best option but ultimately your decision.I know from personal experience if you desire your family to be involved/updated on your care and status they will admire and respect him and so will you. Most importantly - You will know and yes definitely feel you are in excellent hands. Thanks Dr. Aamodt.

I was not impressed. I will give credit where credit is due, he preformed my emergency c section beautifully and I have almost no visible scarring. However. He was ver patronizing at my last OB appt and a bit patronizing during the previous two I had with him. My biggest bome to pick however is how he treated me the day in had (and almost lost) my twins. He treated me and my family horribly, was mean and made everything nice and panicky/scary for me, allowed his nursing team to throw my family's belief in God in their faces during a time of crisis, left the babies in me for THREE hours after KNOWING baby A was in clear distress (which resulted in baby A being born 'technically ' dead and he ended up with HIE and now may have cerebral palsy) and because he needed resuscitated, my other baby was put to the side and he ended up with cardiac arrest. And HIE because he coded too. He could have prevented all of that or at least treated us with decency, but he didnt.

Dr Aamodt was very caring and thoroughly explained the procedure. I would highly recommend him and the staff at Shenandoah Women's Healthcare.

Wonderful staff! Dr. Aamodt is an amazing physician. I value his professionalism and his knowledge. He always gives me the time I need. I have had many health issues since I entered my "golden years" and he has been there for me. Not only is he my physician, he is a dear friend as well. A special thank you to Sharon for her professional help as well as a dear friend. Again, wonderful staff.....
