UPDATED REVIEW! WOW, after being a patient here for 15 years and advocating for my mother, they say I'm no longer welcome as a patient! Thanks for sticking up for the ones you're suppose to care for! Can I give a zero star for this specific doctor, Banafsheh Motazedi. She acted as if she didn't want to listen or answer my questions while at an appointment for my mother, who has diabetes and is struggling to control it. I have also been a diabetic for 18 years so I feel that any questions or concerns I have for my mother are valid and should not be dismissed. She acted as if I were wasting her time and would act as if she were getting offended by everything I said. I started out very sweet and kind but I will only deal with so much disrespect from someone before I get disrespectful back. I am breastfeeding my baby asking her if we should try carb counting with my mother, she just fussed two minutes earlier at my mother for having a high blood sugar and eating too many carbs for breakfast, one reason for prompting my question. Her answer was that we need to refer my mother to a nutritionist, which my mother just saw, so they could figure it out. That she "didn't have the time to figure that out", literally this doctors words to me and my mother (her patient). I have been seeing a different doctor at this office for 15 years and I have NEVER had an experience like this before. My mother will NEVER see her again because if a doctor can't answer your questions and "doesn't have the time to figure it out" then she is most definitely NOT the doctor for my mother and honestly I don't think she should be a doctor at all if she can't spend time with her patient to help figure out how to help a senior woman control her diabetes. Was so incredibly disappointed and absolutely livid with the ignorance I saw throughout that office today!!! Thanks for nothing!!
