I sleep with oxygen and my machine needs looked at. Went for an appointment last week and the sleep center sent results of a 2004 sleep study to Lincare instead of results from my latest sleep study in 2020. Who sends results from 18 years ago when I have had several newer sleep studies? Now Lincare still won't come to service my oxygen machine because of this. I have been sleeping with oxygen that hasn't been serviced in 4 years. No new filter and they won't even give me new tubing without newer results. Can't speak to a live human being at the sleep center. Guess I will just die in my sleep waiting for someone to fix this HUGE mistake. My oxygen levels are dipping way down while I sleep. Won't anyone send the correct results to Lincare or do you not care I am so very sick? Should I contact a lawyer? Begging and pleading isn't helping.
I went to the sleep center in September and told the NP Dr Detrich I thought it was circadian rhythm disorder I was only checked for sleep apnea. I think the Dr's only think of apnea when a person goes in and don't bother to check other things.
This sleep center is local to Harrisonburg, adjacent to the hotel Madison, on the corner of cantrell ave and south Main Street. It’s difficult to get an appointment here because they rock and there are apparently lots of people with sleep issues. But I must point out there’s one person there who made all the difference and made the visit worth my while. The NP Heather Miller made me feel special because she took the time to ask the most appropriate questions to understand my state of health. If health care had providers like this, there would be a lot more healthy people in this world. They don’t teach manners in school anymore, but this provider was exceptional. Thank you Dr. Miller!!!
My third time at a sleep center. Heather (my NP) was great, she took my medical history and made sure I knew what to expect. The staff were friendly and it was easy to get my study scheduled ONCE I WAS ABLE TO BE SEEN. (I was originally scheduled to see someone 3-4 months away but a cancellation opened up an earlier time.) My only gripe is that they kept telling me this was across the street from the Hotel Madison. It’s across MLK Jr Way from the hotel, I wish they’d clarified that because I drove around for 15 mins looking on the other side of Main Street from the hotel’s main entrance.
Went for folliw up w my machine after 5 years... Dr. said last study was in 2013. Just see us annually to continue w supplirs. I told her I've been getting supplues W/O visits. I won't be coming back. She refused to look at my machine settings nor did she inquire. She shut me down when I had questions. Had a young man mentoring possibly. I'm going to another closer. Not my only bad experience there..

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
