List of National Spine & Pain Centers Henrico's Reviews
Front office staff are consistently rude. Dr. Gu was horrible, seemed unable to explain a treatment plan. The treatments I received made my condition worse. This guy should retire.
From the staff handling all the paperwork to the nurses making sure we’re ok, I’ve always received a good feeling when visiting the office. The nurse practitioners and Dr. Gu have always taken the time to help find the right solution to ease my pain. No treatment cures 100% of the pain, but Dr. Gu and his staff will do their best to improve your quality of life.
Receptionist forgot to put the phone on hold before gossiping. Very unprofessional 😥
Doctor spends time listening to your issues and comes up with a plan to improve any discomfort your facing
Dr.Gu.is Awesome.. I've been in Pain Mgmt for 30 years and the last 4 yrs with Dr.Gu.. When He does the Different types of Injections I have to get several times a year He knows just where to put them to give Me the most relief from pain.. I've only had one other Dr. That Good... I just wish the Government would keep their Nose out of My Health Care when it comes to Medication.. when you have multi levels of Disc out of place you are gonna have to learn to manage your Meds and Be Responsible with them....
Wonderful stagg
The people are nice and and care for the patients. Dr. Gu is very knowledgeable and considerate about their patients.
I have been going to national spine and pain centers for several years now. I can only say a good things about the Henrico office. The staff is attentive and friendly, at the front desk she can be a little standoffish, but she's just doing her job and that's it. The quality of visits is excellent. They give me options as to what my treatment will be and they are always attentive. I have never had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seen. Most times it's within 10 minutes that I'm escorted back to one of the exam rooms. The doctor or the nurse practitioners or physician's assistance come in shortly after that. I have had appointments from 8:00 in the morning all the way till 3:00 in the afternoon and I have never run into any issues with the office being behind. I guess I am just lucky?
Front desk people are very rude, they don’t respect the patient
The receptionist is the worst rude woman I've ever met you would think being that she works in health care that she would at least be more courteous respectful and nice she rolls her eyes she acts like she doesn't feel like working and when you call she hangs up the phone on you and don't call twice she'll send you to the answering machine as soon as she gets your birthday in gonna start looking at somewhere else I hate to do that being that I've been coming here for so many years but since they continue to have rude people and it's not the doctors or the nurses I just can't deal with that 1 receptionist anymore or I'm going out in handcuffs

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
