List of Anita G Rentz Md's Reviews
Dr Rentz has the Best Bedside Manner Ive ever experienced. She listens to your concerns and includes you in the decision making. I really feel comfortable with her and her team. Thank you! 😊 A.Brown
Dr Rentz listens and is knowledgeable, competent and compassionate.
I have been seeing Dr. Rentz for two years now and have always had a great experience with her. She has been on time every time I have been there and is extremely kind, caring and knowledgeable. My previous doctor used to keep me waiting for 45 minutes to an hour each time I went so I really appreciate Dr. Rentz respecting my time. She has also followed up with me post exam to make sure I was feeling well. I highly recommend Dr. Rentz.
Competent, empathetic physician who makes herself available to her patients when she can. Very responsive to call-in requests. Great follow up. I always recommend her to my colleagues
Dr. Rentz is hands down the best doctor I've ever seen. She is very friendly and warm, knowledgeable and takes her time to listen to the issue and figure out a plan to correct the issue. I never feel rushed by her and feel she really cares. I highly recommend this doctor for family care.
Did not find this doctor to be thorough. Expected more.
Wonderful doctor! Goes over and beyond in every aspect. It's clear that she really cares about her patients. When I had an unexpected issue come up she immediately coordinates numerous tests and referrals during the workup. Had she not been so proactive, the condition would have continued untreated. She is the embodiment of a phenomenal primary care physician whose preventive medicine ensures better long-term outcomes for her patients. Absolutely recommend!
Dr. Rentz is knowledgeable and caring. She listens with full attention, and she's alert for issues beyond the reason for the visit. She's happy to explain complex issues. She seems to run on time but also doesn't seem rushed. I feel like I'm in good hands with her.
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Rentz. I had blood work done and had to follow-up multiple times to get my results (which were never posted in their online portal, Privia). I had high cholesterol, yet, never got a call back from Dr. Rentz and worse still, never received my medication - even after following up multiple times with the office. I was told that they were "surprised that this fell through the cracks" but never did receive my medication. I switched doctors and am much happier!
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Rentz. I had blood work done during a physical and had to call back twice just to get my results. The online portal, Privia, did not show my results. I had to follow-up twice, just to get a call back from a nurse who read me my results (no interpretation, no analysis, no call back from a doctor). Dr. Rentz never bothered to call me, even though I had some concerning results, particularly regarding high cholesterol.I was told that she would call in a prescription medication for me. Two weeks later, nothing, no call from the pharmacy saying my medication was ready, no call from Dr. Rentz, no call even from the nurse. I followed up, to be told by the front desk that they would let the doctor know and that they were really surprised that this had "slipped through the cracks'. Another two weeks later, still no medication. I followed up again, to be told the same thing. I guess it's my fault for waiting so long to follow-up, but I shouldn't have to call this many times just to get results and my medicine. With this level of poor patient care, I switched practices and am much happier. I'm on a treatment plan for my high cholesterol and even got a call back right away from my new doctor (the night before she left on vacation) immediately following my blood work. I would not recommend Herndon Family Medicine to anyone.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
