Best doctor I've ever seen. She's thorough and is more than willing to take all the time needed to explain the use of her prescriptions for you. You won't feel rushed during your appointments with Dr. Leavens. I highly recommend her.

I was looking for a local gp doctor for my own elderly father. Because of reviews online, I chose Dr. Leavens. After taking my father for several years to her and seeing how thoroughly and carefully she cared for him, I decided to switch to Dr. Leavens for myself. I am so thankful I did, because just before my very first visit, I experienced extreme back pain and was eventually diagnosed with a herniated disc. She has been with me every step of the way, easy to reach via email and so helpful!

Dr Leavens is smart, pays attention, discusses relevant research related to my problem and made appropriate treatment recommendations. She's thorough, professional, and very competent. Pleasant but not touchy, feely.

I'm a new patient with Dr. Leavens. My initial visit with her was excellent. She was thorough and professional and very friendly. I went home that day and a few hours later I fell and cracked my head on cement and ended up with a concussion. After trip to ER I had my second visit with her for post-op care. During my healing she has been very helpful, keeping in touch with my home health therapists about my condition and my medications. I see her again next week. I am very grateful.

I've seen Dr. Leavens about 4 times now and am very happy with her as my doctor. I have had several doctors throughout the past 30 years, some better, several worse. Dr. Leavens is not a touchy-feely, super-outgoing kind of person, she is pretty straight forward. I feel very comfortable talking with her and I especially like that she is listening to what I have to say and not rushing me out the door to get to the next patient. She is through with her questions and does not hesitate to write a referral for necessary follow-on testing. It's a nice office, appointments are easy, and wait time is generally not very long.
