Dr, Marathe is an excellent primary care provider. In addition to being highly skilled and thorough, she is very kind and compassionate, encouraging her patients to share concerns with genuine interest and engagement. Dr. Marathe works with me to discuss issues and make a plan for treatment that works for me and my real life. I was very reluctant to leave my former PCP but, as I am getting older, I need someone who can oversee all aspects of my care. I am so glad I chose Dr. Marathe. She’s attentive and keeps excellent records, she always has the big picture in mind, and she is an excellent communicator. And she has never made me feel rushed. Dr. Marathe is the best!

Dr Marathe took on my Dad’s care when he was in a very difficult and feeble situation. Thanks to her care, he was able to get important treatment that other doctors had not suggested, and she was always available for consultations and questions. We are so grateful to her and her practice, and others in our family have joined her care as well. If you are looking for someone caring, available, and effective, I can’t recommend Dr Marathe enough!

Dr. Marthe is a caring, helpful and generally wonderful MD. I feel taht she gives me the greatest care I can get. She listens to my problems and discusses the alternatives. I have a few medical problems and she always responds promptly. I am very happy that I discovered this practice, and Dr. Marathe in particular. I hope I will never need to find another primary care physician.

Dr. Marathe has been a godsend to us for several years. We feel as if the weight of the world has been lifted from our shoulders in regards to our health care. Not only is she a caring and knowledgeable Internist, she has helped to orchestrate the many specialists we have, with suggestions as to who might better serve our needs. We cannot say enough about her genuine concern and prompt response to questions any time of the day or night.

We chose Dr. Marathe to provide concierge care for my 80+ years old parents who were new to the area. Dr. Marathe is calm and kind. She takes the time to listen so her patients feel heard, tailors her care to the unique needs of each individual, communicates clearly, and is always ready to answer questions, assist with specialists and provide compassionate care. We trust her implicitly. She has been a true godsend as we’ve had to navigate a number of complicated and urgent health issues. We feel so lucky to have found her and highly recommend her!

We originally came to Dr. Marathe two years ago looking for a primary care physician for my college-aged daughter who was leaving her pediatrician. She has multiple health challenges, and we knew she would need to have a doctor who would really be able to help her over and above yearly physicals and occasional sick visits. After meeting with Dr. Marathe, we liked her so much, I decided to also switch to their practice. She is not only friendly, compassionate and takes her time listening to your concerns, but she also cares about your emotional and mental health as well as your physical one. She is always available quickly, the office staff is fantastic and she has been been particularly helpful coordinating with different specialists for both myself and my daughter. We highly recommend her!

I am a new patient with Dr Ira Marathe (Lifetime Internal Medicine) and cannot say enough good things about my experience with the Dr and her entire office staff! From the moment I entered the office I was immediately greeted and ushered into a room and nurse came in to take information from me and then Dr Marathe came in. Being that this was a first office visit I was a little nervous but this quickly passed and by the end of the visit I felt that I had been in this practice forever. The Dr took the time to ask questions and get to know me and answered all my questions completely without making me feel rushed! I look forward to being with the practice for a long time! After having the same primary care physician for more than 20 years, I was skeptical that I’d find anyone else I’d truly feel comfortable with. I’m so very happy I found Dr Marathe. Having been a patient of hers for a little more than a year now, I could not be more pleased. She approaches medicine from a holistic perspective and takes the time necessary to learn about you, your health/wellness goals and motivations in order to help you build a plan toward achieving optimal health and wellness. You don’t feel rushed when visiting or speaking with her. I could not be happier with the decision to trust her with helping to manage my health and wellness.

How to begin. I have been a patient of Dr. Marathe’s for approximately two years. I am an RN, though for the last 25 years, I have been working in medical malpractice defense litigation, where the most critical part of my position is identifying the most appropriate and potential expert witnesses for any given case. With that being said, I am extremely particular about any and all physicians that I need to see. I conduct the same research for my personal use as I do for our clients. And for me, Dr. Marathe has consistently proven to be incredibly knowledgeable, accessible, supportive, warm - the list goes on and on. I feel extremely fortunate to be her patient. Dr. Marathe is an absolute gem of both an individual and a physician.
