Jason A Cooper Md's Online Review Report Card

I am giving 3 stars only because Dr.Cooper. He is a great doctor and I like him . Would give only 1 star for service and policies, because I think that is wrong what they did. I got positive Covide test 10 days ago and because of having strong coughing wanted to see Dr.Cooper for him to listen my lungs and give me some suggestions for after covid care. Televisit would be just fine for the beginning. When I called , receptionist notified me that me last visit to the doctor was more than 3 years ago and because of that they consider me as a new patient and they are no longer accepting new patients. So, they can not help me and I have to go to urgent care if I need to. First, during world Covid situation for 2.5 year people are trying to go to the doctors as less as possible. Second, I am not a total new as a patient and I was at their office before, my husband and my other family members are patients too. Third, I personally think it is WRONG to deny the medical service to a patient who really needs it, what ever policies you have. Very strange and unpleasant experience.

Many years with Dr. Cooper . His wife Dr. Holly was first then as left practice I went to her practicing husband. He is very much a concerning physician , but oh has a great sense of humor as well. I always feel secure he will be aware and very informed in his treatment and knowledge there of. Will continue as patient for many more years that is as many as I'm given. Great physician, great person.

Dr. Cooper is personable and goes out of his way to learn about you as a person and build lifelong relationships to make you feel comfortable and confident.

I called dr coopers office today . I was told to call on the first week of June . Told her , we have a great friend who has referred dr Cooper to us since we are looking for a good doctor. Last week a young front desk girl was willing to set up initial appointment and she( kris ) was a nice . But she couldn’t make an appointment with dr cooper . She indicated he would be available in June . So today this old Lady told me at first of all what l Kind of insurance we have , told her we have BCBS beside Medicare A , she was willing to set up appointment until she found of our age . Then her attitude changed 360Degree. She said anyone over 65 years is higher risk and dr Cooper is very busy and he must decide to see if he wants to take us or not. I told her we don’t have another health issues at all. She said it doesn’t matter. Her name is “Valerie “ As a seeing New doctor in Herndon , Va, we Don’t have to take this kind of discrimination from this doctor,s office nor from dr Cooper . I am placing these unprofessional doctor.s discrimination and to choose his own discretionary of the people. Totally against being the doctor.Who suppose to help people. We are advocating and let others know about this doctor and his unprofessional office staff.. This kind of actions are totally unacceptable from the supposedly reliable doctor. Very disappointed ! We have lived in Herndon since 1986 . Never have experienced this kinds of unpleasant and Unprofessionalism from any doctors office .

My first visit with Dr Cooper was very positive. He has a kind and caring attitude and seemed genuinely interested in me as a person. I could tell he had already looked at my medical history before the appointment...this impressed me. He was also very detailed in his physical examination. Based on this first visit, I highly recommend Dr. Cooper.
