Extreme wait time, rude staff. No follow up about lab work and results. All she care is about money e.g copays etc

My mother-in-law chose Dr Imam because she participated in her insurance. When she and we, needed her the most during an urgent medical situation, she was short in her respect, words, and bedside manner. Most of the glitches that happened during her 6-day stay in a hospital were due to something that was the responsibility of Dr Imam. When we needed her guidance and support for further care for our mother she was not available to talk, and walked away from us 2 different times. I am not sure why a person of this demeanor and personality is in the medical field but I'm only sharing this to keep others from having a bad experience at a critical time.

This is by far the worst primary care physician we have had. Even 1 star is too much. They treated my mother with no courtesy or respect for her age. The prescription by mail place had sent her a request to refill her Diabities medication and she had not answered them. Then we called them last week and asked for a refill. They refused us as well last week to refill her prescription and said we have to make an appointment. We told them that we don't have any health issues or concerns and that we just need medication refill. They refused. So we made an appointment for Monday. At the appointment the doctor asked us why we're there. My mother told her that she doesn't have any illness or concern, she only needs medication refill. She told us she would call, we asked her for 3 refills, she said no, she will do 2. The next day we called the mail prescription place and they told us they don't have the refill from our doctor. We had to call the doctor's office again on Tuesday but nothing happened. My mother after 10 days of waiting for a refill ran out of medication. Very important Diabities medication. We called the prescription by mail office and they suggested that the doctor give us another refill so that they can send 10 day supply at cost to our local pharmacy. Even through she promised two refills she did one refill. When I called the office her assistant said we don't do 2 refills. I told them the doctor said during the visit she will do two refills. It took 4 phone calls, they refused. Finally after pleading with them and telling them again that my mom doesn't have any medication. I would not recommend this practice and this doctor to my enemies. Keep away from them for the sake of your health and sanity.

Horrible, I had pain in my chest because of acidity. She sent me to spend 24 hour in Reston Hospital for nothing. The result, she charged with other physicians around $ 1000.00 plus $2800.00 for Reston Hospital. When I visited her again, she looked at me with careless and rude way.

I been going over 5 Years evrey single time Dr. Shamin and her team (Carlos), been excelent help, I woul recomend all my friends to them. They are very profesional and helpfull it's best medical place to go.

I have had the best care under Dr Imam. She is a great physician. Dr Imam was recommended to me by my best friend 3 or 4 years ago. I don’t live in Herndon, but it’s worth the time to get there. I’m not trusting my health to a doctor who lives close, I want a great doctor. She is thorough and proactive. Dr Imam has a quiet and serious demeanor, and is warm and personable. I feel very comfortable and confident that I am getting excellent medical advice and care.

Let me just say she shouldn't be doctor she's very rude disrespectful she will not give one single refill she will tell you ask your pharmacy to request for refill but she never approves it or may be that amigo Carlo sitting on front desk will tell you make apmnt just want cash your insurance company STAY AWAY STAY AWAY SAVE YOUR TIME AD MOMEY I,LL BE REPORTING THEM!!!

I found her generally unfriendly.

The guys in front of the desk is Very mean and so rude. The waiting time is so long .

Dr Imam - through telemedicine was excellent. Great follow up afterwards too
