Tajammul Ehsan's Online Review Report Card

Every single time I’ve gone into this office, they’ve been unprofessional. Receptionist has too much on her load, comes off as rude & restless. Each time I wait about 40 minutes in the back room office to finally get to speak to Dr. Ehsan. And after going back there 6 months later, the receptionist conveniently forgets to tell me the doctor is not accredited to the insurance I have. And to wait 2 more months to get the EMG I’m there to take. Wasted an hour of my life just for the doctor to have a “follow up” when that’s not what I intended the visit to be. It’s a money grab. Dr. Ehsan doesn’t know much about Bell’s palsy condition. Not going back there again. Extremely unprofessional. He may be nice, but I’d prefer a place that the specialist actually wants to provide help & not brush off my questions & time.

I had a really difficult time with this office. I think they have more work than they can handle Dr. Ehsan was an absolute delight, but it is nearly impossible to get time with him. The office was very messy and the staff at the front desk wasn't necessarily unkind, but they certainly didn't want to be bothered with me. I switched doctors because I wasn't getting the attention I needed...an appointment.

Genuine and sincere, he takes the time to explain and listen to your concerns. The other negative reviews do not represent the Dr. Ehsan that I visited. Cannot emphasize enough how thorough he is in explaining!

Dr. Ehsan is truly amazing and takes the time to listen before jumping to any conclusion or prescribing a medicine. In my very rare condition, he diagnosed it as precisely as possible and prepared a very effective treatment plan. I wish I could say the same thing about his practice (Dulles Neurology) and the other partner doctor who I had to see today in Dr. Ehsan's absence! His practice has been doing an extremely poor job letting patients know why Dr. Ehsan is on what seems to be an extended leave and when he might return. It's not easy to switch neurologists and it's certainly not easy to find someone like him. There are real consequences when you keep patients waiting indefinitely in the dark and the practice doesn't have that kind of conscience! 6 out of 5 stars for Dr Ehsan but -1 out of 5 stars for Dulles Neurology and the partner doctor! Hope you return soon.

Great doctor He took good care of my niece who has severe epilepsy. He was very kind and patient with her. I will chose Dr Ehsan if I ever need a neurologist.

I would have given no stars but that wasn’t an option! I can’t even begin to tell anyone how truly disappointed I am with his care! I was admitted to the hospital with numbness in upper and lower extremities for a week. I had a million dollar work up MRI’s cat scans blood work. And every day he would come in and say I don’t know what’s wrong with you all your tests are normal. He has me on a extremely high dose of steroids via IV. I was in the hospital five days . When I went home no improvement at all. I followed up with him the following week with no improvement. He told me to take my records and go see another dr. I asked what kind of doctor he said a neurologist. I said shouldn’t I go see a neurosurgeon? He snapped at me and said you don’t need a surgeon,there is nothing wrong with you! I got a second opinion,I had a herniated disc in my neck.I had surgery and all symptoms are resolved! Don’t waste your time with this guy he is in it for the money.

Did not pay any attention to my medical history. Gave me a diagnosis he could not support. He is a hazard and should be relieved of his duties.

I just recently moved to this area from the northeast. I brought my son who is 8 yrs old and has ADHD. The doctor was never rude but he didn’t interact with my child as his previous physician, as well as others specializing in pediatric neurology have. He hardly engaged my son. Perhaps he doesn’t specialize in children.. I should have noticed that most in the waiting room were adults. I believe that when dealing w children a doctor especially a neurologist should be more interactive and this was not the case here. I felt a bit rushed and dismissed. Although he seemed respectful and may be a great doctor, I will most likely not return.

Sarcastic, condescending, arrogant, and just egotistical, are the words this doctor can accurately describe this doctor. I'm coming up on a year since the demise of a loved one and throughout the entire time my loved one was in the ICU, this so called doctor was non existent. Once we were finally able to catch up with him after waiting for two days, he finally decided to show up to ICU in Reston hospital and brief my family and I on the prognosis of my loved one. Concerned with my loved one's current status and the fact that he showed up two days late to give us any information, naturally, we had many questions. Before we could even establsh a relationship, this doctor stopped me in my tracks and started to say, "listen to me first, then I can answer your questions", as if he didn't want to deal with any more people at the end of the day.

I cannot recommend Dr. Ehsan highly enough. When I suddenly came down with an illness and went into the hospital other doctors were at a loss. Dr. Ehsan came in and within 5 minutes correctly diagnosed my situation and has been effectively treating it since then He is very caring and concerned about his patients.
