I'm not one to typically complain or leave reviews but the wait time at this practice is absolutely absurd. I'm not sure what is happening behind the scenes with their time management, but it needs major improvement. Every single visit results in a 30min to 45min wait past my appointment time. What makes this especially frustrating is that a few months ago my 7:00AM appointment was canceled because I arrived at 7:05AM. Considering how common it is to be kept waiting far beyond my scheduled time, it was shocking and odd to me that 5mins was treated as a serious issue. So all of a sudden you have rules and being on time is important? Mind you, there are no visible signs in the office outlining this policy, no text messages, no phone calls, and nothing written anywhere. Even when I later called to reschedule, the receptionist seemed confused about why my appointment had been canceled. Her exact response was, "You weren't even that late." This makes the policy feel inconsistent and arbitrary. They pull it out of their behinds whenever they feel like it. Since that situation, I've made it a point to arrive early or exactly on time for every appointment. Yet I still sit in the waiting room for over 30 minutes every single visit. How are you holding patients to a strict (and quite frankly - BS) standard that you as a practice cannot even meet? When I've raised this concern with staff, the response has been dismissive. I don't know if they are accustomed to serving patients who have unlimited flexibility, but people have jobs, children, and other commitments. You simply cannot treat people like this. There have been so many times that I have scheduled an appointment around my work schedule only to be made late to work or be out of the office longer than anticipated because by the time I thought I'd be wrapping up my appointment, I'm just now being called back. I understand (and expect) a 10-15min wait at a busy office. But 30-45mins is incredibly disrespectful. I've been told the delays are due to procedures taking longer and the doctor needing to be careful. Then schedule your appointments accordingly??? Poor planning on the practice's end is not my problem. While I do enjoy Dr. Davis, the ongoing disregard for my time is making me seriously consider finding a different practice.

Stephanie is the best! She always listens, very empathetic and very informative, always trying to help. Would recommend this place and her to anyone!
Professional, courteous, kind, understanding, smiles that make you feel comfortable. Every procedure was fully explained that erased any stress, fear. I am 79 years old and would recommend National Spine & Pain Center in Ashburn to all that are experiencing back pain.
Everyone from the front desk to both providers are the nicest, most informative and helped me 100%.
Horrendous customer service and condensending tones from the front office and management staff
Completely dysfunctional office with a Doctor who just cares about getting as many people in and out as possible. These people do not care about you, just your money. Trust in the bad reviews on this one and go to a different doctor even if it is farther away.
This is the first practice that I have been to recently that took the time to listen to my concerns, fully review my imaging then provide me with the options that I have been trying to get for over a year!
I read the response to my review. Oddly I have called and emailed, even included my lawyer on the emails to Emma Martinez, with no response or call back. Still waiting for my full reimbursement for the charges that were made to my credit card, without my consent.
Terrible experience If I had read the many terrible reviews, I wouldn’t have gone to this business for treatment. My experience was exactly as the other reviewers described. My initial “consultation” with Stephanie was great, initially. I went in for steroid injections having had no conversation or communication with Dr. Davis. I was directed to a room, I have never had injections or surgery on my back before. The lower back injections were painless. But what I remember the most was the constant conversation between the nurse and doctor throughout the procedure. Unprofessional talk about a patient they saw before me and how crazy she was (due to the last dr she saw, that did a bad medical procedure on her) ,then how Dr.Davis’s dad was visiting from out of town, to how Dr. Davis’s dad says how perfect he is. It’s as if I wasn’t even in the room. I had another appointment with Dr. Davis to receive upper back steroid injections, again zero conversation or explaining the procedure. At my follow up appointment with Stephanie, I told her that my lower back pain was still awful. She then explained that most people need at least two rounds of injections. The front desk lacks tremendously in communication. They made more appointments, and it’s clear that no one in this office has any customer service skills. The idea is that you keep your mouth shut and everyone shuffles you around. I showed up for the next appointment, which was to inject my upper back, which wasn’t needed. That’s that “lack of communication”. I was hoping Dr. Davis would still inject my lower back because of my desperation for pain relief. Nope, shuffled out. I had started questioning the charges that I was receiving via email and everytime I visited the office, it was another charge. Essentially, I had to speak with their “billing department”, and my bank because someone at that office was charging my credit card without my consent, and my health insurance company for explanation of charges and documented visits. Once this was brought to Emma’s attention (front desk manager), she started to lie. I recorded all conversations and the poor interaction I had with the receptionists at my last appointment. Where I left crying because Emma kept saying I owed more money, which I paid and showed her receipts and bank statements. She acted like I couldn’t get my back injections until I paid again. I have been requesting my $400 refund because no one in this office can tell you charges, document visits, or know what requires a copay. I called the “billing office” and they said it would take 4-6 weeks to receive a refund, for a payment that they have been holding for 5 weeks now. Once I gathered documents from my insurance company and did the book keeping for Emma Martinez, as she asked me to do, Dr. Davis called me to say that I should go somewhere else. He is clearly aware that his office staff and billing department are beyond incompetent and bordering on a liability. Emma and Dr. Davis both stated that this was the first time a patient has had these issues, laughable. This is obviously the way Pain & Spine Center, Landsdowne, conducts business.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
