She didn't explain the results of my bloodwork; only told me one of the levels was a little high and didn't provide ay solution to solve the problem. She also didn't update my medication list and when I went to the hospital the list was outdated. She didn't provide a complete examination; and bloodwork was incomplete. She refused to give a blood test; said it wasn't necessary at the time. I would not recommend her."

Dr. Elbert is highly professional, personable and a genuinely caring physician. She has always listened to our medical concerns and assigned appropriate diagnostics to arrive at a proper diagnosis and treatment pathway. Whenever specialty treatment is required she will make referrals to other physicians best suited to treat a particular condition. We have full confidence in her and highly recommend her to others who are seeking medical help from a competent physician. For these reasons and more we render to her a five star rating.
Incomplete bloodwork given, refuse request for some bloodwork to be done. Gave incomplete examination. Felt rushed during visit. Takes 2 months to schedule appointments
Dr. Elbert is the nicest doctor I know. She is so detailed and knowledgeable.
I changed from a Military Medicine doctor to Dr. Elbert last summer. She immediately made me feel at ease and addressed all the challenges of shifting my prescriptions and providing recommendations to continue other medical support issues such as CPAP replacement equipment. When I suspected I had COVID, she arranged for my test in the office. I was confirmed, and she also arranged for an Anti-body test, and finally, signed me up for the vaccine.
After our mother was released from an out of town hospital, we were directed to make an appointment with her primary care "dr." To have several things gone over including her prescriptions which she was only given a week supply. We drove 40miles to give the discharge papers and a brief description of our concerns : not eating or sleeping. Discussed this with the receptionist and left the paperwork. ...
Sent my mom to her to get a signature on a business document giving me the power to take over her trust as outlined in her documents. I was already her POA and needed this technically taken care of. My mother was obviously demented. I had written a letter outlining what was needed prior to the appointment. The letter was not read and when I called to followup I recieved no phone call for days. When I finally got to the business manager I was told that it was against policy to discuss a patient even if I am her POA and her medical directive agent. I explained that I was 500 miles away and didn't think it was right that their policy was not explained at the time of appointment. Elbert could care less how her office treats it's patients. Hey Elbert my mother died from complications from vascular dementia less than a year from your examination. . After difficult delay in getting the documents signed by competent doctors I was able to get control of her affairs. Sadly this doctor does not have patient care as the number one on the policy of business. I have never been so livid with a medical group. My policy is to refer people away from this group as when the chips are down they will be no where to be found. She has been gone a year now and when I have the misfortune of reliving her demise I become angry again at thinking of this incident. An impossible situation compounded by a callous unfeeling doctor.
I was looking for a primary Dr. and choose her from a list of Drs. provided. When I saw her I was sick and Not only did she prescribe the antibiotic I told her I couldn't take, she misdiagnosed me. She obviously wasn't taking the time to listen to me. I had to go to a walk in clinic to get the right medications. Terrible experience! I almost ended up with pneumonia and in the hospital.
I'm a 67 year old female with diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Elbert is the most knowledgeable and compassionate Primary Care Physician I've ever had. She is thorough, answers all the questions I may have during a visit and each time I leave I have a clear understanding of what her plan for my health care is and what she wants me to do between then and my next visit. I would recommend her to anyone seeking a PCP in the Fredericksburg area. I am also very pleased with the CIMA practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
