List of Wendy Kay Westfield's Reviews
She's a lousy doc with a horrible bedside manner. My wife and I suffer from migraines and she says there's no such thing as migraines. She said it's a blood pressure issue. Will not recommend her at all
I've been taking my son to her since he was born, and she's always been great with him. She's also my Primary Care Physician, even though I usually go to a walk-in clinic or see a nurse practitioner at her office for sick visits (strep, sinus, etc.), who are all wonderful by the way. I've only seen Westfield a couple of times for myself, even though I see her every year for my child. I went to ask for her advice about my asthma and if I should be concerned or use extra precautions upon physically returning to work after Covid-19 closures. A valid concern. I felt so JUDGED and INSULTED by her. First, she walked into the exam room and made a snarky comment about my son. As I was trying to ask questions and explain my concerns, she was defensive and argumentative with me. It was rude, so much that I decided to come home and immediately find a new PCP and a new Pediatrician for my son. I'm still shocked, because she's never been rude with him, but nobody deserves to be treated that way.
She has always been good with my child, but she was argumentative and rude when I saw her. She didn't seem to want to listen to my health concerns and acted like I was wasting her time. She also scolded me for canceling a follow up appointment, and didn't care when I said the reason I canceled was because I couldn't afford the $200 coinsurance at the time. I've taken my son to her for years, but we're both getting new doctors now.
Dr. Westfield has been my and my child's primary physician for many years. She always goes the extra mile to help both of us. She is very caring. Her staff is amazing as well.
Wendy Witch Of The WestField, is my nickname for the "boss" of this practice. Let's rewind 5 years ago. Wendy Westfield: "The formula your infant son needs(Similac for sensitive stomachs since he was having quiet a bit of issues digestive wise) is more expensive than regular formula, and since my tax dollars are being used (I was a single mom on wick) I only signed for him to get regular similac." Wendy Westfield is not looking out for patients interests, only $$$. If I could give negative stars I would. Fast forward to this practice today, My elderly mother went in for sinus infection like symptoms, was prescribed an antibiotic that made the hearing she has left diminish. The drs at this practice have it in her file that she lost hearing in one ears many years ago. Why is first do no harm a thing of this past here? No care or empathy, people who come in are just cattle that are led through the chute quickly. Drs are not even allowed to spend time with patients thanks to Wendy witch of the Westfield.

I am not the patient, it was my father and for an older gentleman, this was not the right practice. He was not allowed to eat or drink anything for a 10AM appointment for bloodwork and then they did not do bloodwork. Received conflicting instructions on medication.
Only sorry I didn’t read reviews prior to visiting this practice. I am not accustomed to arguing with a physician about my health. I don’t take steroids and definitely not looking forward to being huge. Never took the time to read my medical records and I had to ask for blood work to be done. Not a good practice. I don’t recommend. Rating would not allow poor, only fair. I truly rate POOR!
worst Dr I have ever seen. Uncaring, doesn't explain, dismissive, doesn't ask how you feel, won't help when she can. Does not folliw up. wauted fie almoast an hour last visit while she made copues for 15 minutes.
does not answer letters sent via my chart. dies nir call about lab results.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
