It was an excellent visit. The doctor was incredibly thorough and I appreciated that. I came in with symptoms of a stomach bug and he immediately got me on fluids and anti nausea meds. I also had not been able to take my normal pain meds because of throwing up so he was also able to give me relief through the IV as well I have RA and fibromyalgia and neuropathy all of which were on high alertMy nurse Mandaly was absolutely wonderful. She was so caring and so gentle when she had to do the flu and Covid swabs. She was attentive to my needs with a wonderful personalityI always appreciate the wonderful care I receive at Lewis Gale ER. I believe a lot is attributed to their leader Dr Fadia.Thank you again

Staff was nice but camera broke had to go hour and half to another hospital to finish test and go back the hour and half for the second part the next day

The wait was so long in registrationxray that I was late for my doctors appt. Also I have had Medicare for 10 years and no one has ever asked me to pay a copay up front. I get one check at the first of the month and pay all my bills and very little is left over. Since Lewis Gale Alleghany asked for $15 up front I had to count pennies to get my medicine and groceries to get through to the end of the month and some things had to be done without. Its inexcusablethey can just send a bill after Medicare pays like everyone else but getting a bill from LGA is like pulling teeth and if you get one it wont tell you what its for or how much your insurance paid. And if I overpaid no one will let me know theyll just keep my money.

my husband went to the ER and they were very prompt and acted quickly to get him taken care of. Had a lot of fluid building up and his heart not working properly. The ER Dr. and the Director of the hospital found him a bed in Montgomery to be transferred that day. Nursing staff were great.
