not patent friendly first thing he said to me was u should go to the hospital that did your surgery! he acted like he didn't want to treat me! second i told him that the nurse i was with wanted me to come to the nearest hospital in case it was serious ! third ! my husband wanted to talk to him about what was going on with me! Dr Ventura blew him off didn't say anything to him! fourth ! the nurse that i was with called the Emergency Department to check up on me the Department blew her off as well said she was discharged ! didn't give my nurse any information on my condition!

Best ED physician in the region. Direct, fully diagnostic review and gets it done. No nonsense. Rural communities need more like this physician. Don't know that he would be appreciated where people want to chit chat and he is all business. A lifesaver.

Simply the BEST!!! Dr. Ventura is great! Sewed up a laceration over left eye after I passed out at work....With his background in the Navy and his education, he could go anywhere he wanted! But I'm glad he is at Horizon Health-Paris! Hope he stays!

Amazing doctor Great doctor. knows what is going on and gets straight to the problem. no run around and all this nonsense about seeing main doctor the next day or someone will call you. they treat you immediately. the staff also very nice and answered questions or got the doctor who came right in and was very polite to everyone but also got to work treating the problem. why can't more doctors be like this today. deserves a shout out.

Great doctor Waited and couldn't get a foctors appointment and got sicker. Told to go to ER. Immediately greated by him and nurse. Listened to me and took care of pain asap and explained things. Was treated with respect not like an idiot like so many do.

Saved My Life I was in Central Illinois attending to family matters when within 24 hrs I was having difficulty breathing. I was admitted through the ED. Dr. Ventura's team immediately triaged and attended to the additional studies, while he familiarized himself with the previous labs and tests and like clockwork took the appropriate steps to ameliorate the pain and risk of further harm...which saved my life. I was admitted to the hospital and in the subsequent weeks, I had two more ED visits addressing collateral issues related to the overriding malaise. Like my original presentation, the subsequent two were positive in that the nursing staff, and Dr. Ventura ordered tests, and determined the best course of action and advised me and again...ameliorated the problem. I was extremely impressed with the overall professionalism of the physician and his team. Well done!
