Dr Givan and his staff are excellent at what they do. During my visit there were some difficult cases being tended to but they kept everything moving. I had a small spot on my temple which required a Mose procedure to remove all of the affected tissue. Dr Givan and his staff got me in, completed the procedure and stitched me up. I recommend Dr Givan’s office for your dermatology needs.

I was referred to Dr Givins from another dermatologist for a mohs procedure. I was waiting in the parking lot and the receptionist coming to work gave me a heart felt smile so I felt I was in good hands before walking in the door . Dr Givins was great not just a doctor but he took the time to listen to my questions and concerned, He told me he has done about 15000 of these procedures but i felt he gave me a personal concern. The nurse says he’s a great doctor and somebody good to work for . I don’t think I’ll ever see him again but if I did need a surgeon he would be the one to go to , much appreciated him and his personality and skill

I grew up in Los Angeles and spent way too much time "out there havin' fun in the warm California sun" without sunscreen or a hat. The result, now that I'm 74, is little patches of cancerous cells on my head and face. That diagnosis got me sent to see Dr. Jason Givan in Lynchburg for some fancy surgery, called Mohs, to scrape away the bad cells and leave the good ones. Dr. Givan and his med tech, Ms. Jordan Scearce, are an amazing team. Their two sets of hands, moving inches from my face with hardly a word said between them was like watching a precision drill team at work. To make sure only harmful cells are removed, Mohs surgery is conducted in stages: scrape some off, take it to the lab. If it shows cancerous cells, come back and take some more off, until the results are clean. Dr. Givan is all business as he goes about it, and a "We're all done" from him is good news you can take to the bank. A visit to Dr. Givan at Ridge View Dermatology in Lynchburg is, literally, "just what the doctor ordered."
