Dr. Gibbs is unique in comparison to most. He is professional, yet, he relates well to and communicates well with his patients. He demonstrates genuine interest and concern.

Been seeing Dr. Gibbs for about two years and he is the best. Smart, personable, and at 75 I'd say he is the best primary care doctor I've ever seen. BUT, I don't care for Centra and their systems. I can't get an appointment when I want one except with PA's or Nurse Practitioners. And while they are probably competent they are not Dr. Gibbs, who is the reason I go there. For example: I have a future appointment with Dr. Gibbs but they can't tell me when it will be. They will notify me when the appointment is scheduled, at their convenience, without asking me what works for me. Centra practices seem to be operated with the bottom line as the primary concern. While Professional staff almost always seem professional, knowledgeable, and concerned, I do not feel that Centra's administrative procedures are constructed with these parameters in mind. If Doctor Gibbs ever opened his own practice I would be first in line.
