If you are looking for an good endocrinologist look no more. Dr Santos is a great doctor! He takes his time. Never rushes you.answers all your questions. Very informed about all medications he gives you. On top of all insurance problem and helps out his patients as much as he can. I believe. The whole visit is prompt, friendly, VERY clean!! Having diabetes for over 25 years, different programs, medications, drug trials, equipment, insulin----and relocating frequently----with DIFFERENT Endocrinologists with each move; my diabetes has been very difficult to deal with. But NOW; having found Dr. SantosLeal my life as a diabetic has changed for the better. He is totally up to date on ALL MY EQUIPMENT ,from my Insulin Pump to my Diabetic Sensor, types of insulin, programming, new versions ,how to TRUST my equipment, etc.. My A1c is high BUT he is supportive on lowering it; as well as my weight. YES!! he's a specialist in Endocrinology---BUT--- he's more than that, he's a "specialist" in making this person, with diabetes, feel like I can do more than "just" live with this disease; I can succeed !!!!! Dr Santos Leal is my endocrinologist. He is very knowledgeable, understanding, capable and professional. He has helped me in the treatment of my diabetes. I have recommended him to friends and they tell me that they are more than satisfied with his service. My primary care doctor also has made positive statements about Dr Santos Leal.
