Takes all the time in the world if you ask a question, wants you to understand. Cares about the patient's perspective. Wonderful doctor, I don’t understand any negative ratings. And note that he’s a Top Doctor, a lot of satisfied patients!

Dr. Hogge is a highly competent opthamologist who is very careful to check all aspects of a patient's need for eye-care. He is thorough in his exams, careful to probe potential problems during follow-up visits, and highly professional. I entrusted him with my cataract surgery, not a small matter in respect to the procedure or the cost. I found him to be helpful at every stage of the process from answering preliminary questions to helping me decide what was the best direction to go in respect to lenses to shepherding the procedure to having both eyes done. His suggestions for reading glasses was an excellent one that has kept the transition phase much easier. He has hired first rate staff assistants around him as well, a sign of a doctor who cares about his patients and keeping them happy.

Very little wait time before seeing the Doctor. Dr Hogge is friendly, but professional as are the staff. Answered the few questions I had and I was in and out.
