List of Christopher Rees Heaton's Reviews
Although Dr Heaton (and all of Manassas Family Medicine) are religious, Dr Heaton was the only Dr there that I trusted. He was the only one there that took the time to listen about my concerns. Even took the time to confirm my own self diagnosis. He saw my mother and my son as well. I was saddened when he left the practice. I ended up changing practices when he left. And he did remember my family even after he left.
Very attentive to my family during hospitalization. Communicates extremely well. Notified us of changes in status and was honest about expectations. Thanks Dr. Heaton!
HES AMAZING
Very pleasant, thorough, explains everything clearly
Thank goodness, my daughter's father-in-law is a renowned Neurosurgeon, and I did NOT rely solely on the inept and inaccurate diagnosis made by Dr. Christoper Heaton when I was admitted to Haymarket Hospital recently. His bias prevented him from properly diagnosing me with a concussion. He relied solely on the results of a CT-Scan and MRI and completely ignored the other obvious symptoms I presented with which included, loss of consciousness, severe headache, and blurred vision, ALL known symptoms of a concussion. In fact, a 2015 Canadian Study found that neuroimaging was normal in 78% of cases. I DO NOT recommend this doctor to anyone!!!! No surprise he's associated with UVA who misdiagnosed my broken neck years ago and is the reason I suffer from excruciating pain on a daily basis!!! I find it interesting that the ONLY person to "recommend" him, only identifies themselves as a "Google User", leads me to believe it was probably him or an associate of his. Like the other known Poster, his misdiagnosis could have had a detrimental outcome had it not been for a far more competent doctor's proper diagnosis!! The ONLY thing he convinced me of is that I will be suing both of Him AND UVA now!!
Dr. Heaton is very nice and he takes the time to listen to you.
For years Dr. Heaton has seen and cared for our whole family. He knows all of our children and their special needs as well as those of my husband and I. What I really appreciate about Dr. Heaton is that he sincerely cares.
I would never go back to Manassas Family Medicine nor would I recommend it to anyone. Once the nurse or CMA etc. left the room after my physical exam and while still dressing, Dr. Heaton inquired about my religious beliefs. When I told him I was attending the Unitarian Church he told me everything that was wrong with my faith as well as all other religions and preached to me about Jesus. It made me feel very uncomfortable. I never went back after that. This is not as bad as what happened to my mother. My mother often had blood in her urine and visited the office a couple of times for help. They ensured her there was nothing wrong. They didn't even perform any tests. She went to another family practice for a 2nd opinion and it was discovered it was Cervical Cancer! Fortunately, it was caught early and she had surgery. My mother should sue them!
Dr. Heaton knows our whole family and genuinely cares. We always go to see him.
For years I have gone from doctor to doctor never feeling trully connected and understood.I have gone to Manassas family practice for years, but always went with the first available appointment. One day that was Doctor Heaton. He made me feel comfortable and at home asked me questions about my history and even those about my personal lefe that effected my medical history. Don't me wrong he wasn't prying, but coming from a sense of wanting to understand who I was and how he can best help me medically. I have been a patient of Dr. Heaton's for several years now and can't imagine seeing any one else.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
