List of Deeni Bassam's Reviews
Staff is very friendly. Dr. Bassam fully explained everything that he saw in my x-rays and MRI. Highly recommend this office....
I had an acute disc problem, and this guy did magic on my spine with just one injection.
My husband loves this guy
Dr. Bassam and his staff are a wonderful team. Everyone makes me feel so welcome from the time I get there until the time I leave. Dr. Bassam and Dr. Zafar have always been so kind and explained the procedures. It's sad to read these negative comments because I can't imagine anyone in that office, doctors or staff, treating anyone with anything but genuine care and compassion.
Dr. Bassam is a wonderful doctor, ensuring that his patients know all of the options available to treat the condition. But even more important than that is the way he makes you feel: that you are the only person that matters to him at that moment and helping you decide on a course of treatment. I would recommend everyone I know to him. I also like the efficiency his office staff shows.
The best of the best, under Dr. Bassam's care I was able to lead a good quality of life and pain management. I had many surgeries in the past, a neurological stimulator all that didn't help much by other Doctors. Dr Bassam and his staff truly care, I moved away from Va and miss his care so, the quality of care he gave me is now non-existence where I currently reside in NC or through the VA
The Spine Care Center in Manassas has the worst customer service. The front desk Manager was a cold and rude human being. My husband was in bad pain and had just came back from a business trip, so we went straight from the airport with our 3-year old daughter. The day before, I had made an appointment, gave them our insurance information and was told to bring his ID and insurance card and get there 30m earlier. They checked our insurance and no point in time did they mention, that we needed to bring $130 at the appointment. Upon check in, their front manager asked us to pay $130 upfront before even seeing the doctor. Mind you, our insurance is in this office network. Usually its when our insurance is out of network that we are required to pay before service...Unprepared but NOT surprised, we needed to transfer some funds and needed a privacy while doing so, not in a reception full of people waiting in line. My husband was in a lot of pain, so i wanted us to settle him and my daughter in our room and do the transfer through our phone while waiting for the doctor. I asked if we could pay after we see the doctor. The front manager rudely said, "if you dont pay before the service, your husband will not be seen". I could tell that she was offended that i asked. While at the mean time, i saw people paying their balance from a previous appointments with the other Receptionist. I could tell by the look on her face that she wasn't personally going to assist us. This got me really upset. I asked to speak with a manager, and she said she was the manager. I asked to speak with a Supervisor and she said she was going to call him. Then I sat down and thought she was going to have the supervisor talk to me. Nope, she called the supervisor herself on the phone, without giving me the chance to talk to him...and laughed a couple of times. It was very obvious that she didn't want to make it work. She hung up and told us with a smile that they couldn't see us unless we pay first. Their policy says "payment due at time of service", we werent denying that. We just asked to be settled in first and work with our online banking in private. I mean this doesnt seem to much to ask, especially if we're talking about $130, not $15. Most practices would happily mail the patients the bills. Long story short, my husband was not seen. We ended up going to Patient First. They assessed him, took xrays of his neck and back, urine sample, did blood work, got him a pain injection and sent us home with a copy of his Xray, and treatment plan...They took great care of my husband for $15. They told us to see a spine specialist and we will schedule an appointment at the office of Dr. Sassan at the National Spine and Management Centers. The problem with this spine care center is not the doctors who work so hard, but this lady with the God complex. She thinks her office is the only spine center in the universe, or even in Manassas. If she thought that i would just feel sorry for my husband and took my husband back home in pain and mopped. WRONG! So really at the end of the day, Im happy because my husband is now feeling better thanks to the staff and doctors at Patient First for $15..instead of $130 and being treated like criminals. For people, who don't mind being treated like numbers, and pay $$$ ......this office is for you....For people who have young kids, want to be treated like valued patients and human beings while still paying $$$$$......avoid this place!
Dr. Bassam is wonderful! His staff also wonderful. I waited for about ten minutes until I was brought to the exam room, it was clean and sanitary. Dr. Bassam was very understanding he listened closely and didn't rush me either. Another great thing about Dr. Bassam is that he didn't just try to prescribe me narcotics! I am currently going through injections now and for me its incredible I am able to live a normal life again, I couldn't have done it with out Dr. Bassam. I will be forever greatful. I highly recommend Dr. Bassam to everyone that has problems with pain.
I called the Spine care center because my previous Doctor couldn't fit me in for an appointment. I made an appointment with Dr. Bassam. When I got to my appointment I was greatly surprised by how kind and welcoming the staff was. Dr. Bassam was very knowledgeable . Office was impeccable, service was outstanding, and my injection treatment was spot on. I will continue to see Dr. Bassam from now on and will recommend others to do the same.
Dr. Bassam is very caring and professional. He made it possible for me to get back my life. I hurt so much, however, with his help I now can perform simple daily things in life, such as walking. I hope he never leaves, life is so much better with him. I recommend Dr. Bassam to everyone!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
