List of Donna Josephine Carmosky's Reviews
Dr. Carmosky is an incredibly kind and compassionate doctor. She saw me immediately after dealing with anxiety and depression that had resurfaced. She has a great sense of humour and works very hard to make sure you are feeling your best. If you are looking for a physician who cares about your mental well-being, I highly recommend her.
I had never seen a psychiatrist nor therapist before seeing Dr. Carmosky and she left my crying after our first visit. I thought it was because by depression has really taken over but it was the manner that she talked to me. Very condescending and argumentative. I felt more anxious just sitting in her office!
Horrible, completely unprofessional. She has no "bedside manner.
Dr. Carmosky is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. She took the time to listen to me and went above and beyond in finding tangible solutions and treatments for my depression and anxiety. I have been to several psychiatrists over the years and she is the first to take the time order testing and to identify physical reasons for my conditions. She was always flexible when I needed to reschedule appointments, and she was extremely understanding, caring, professional and empathetic during our sessions. I highly recommend her for first-time visits or medication management.
Dr. Carmosky is the most thorough, brilliant, empathetic and understanding psychiatrist I have ever seen. I highly recommend her, especially for the treatment of anxiety and depression. She is flexible with scheduling and amazing at her job.
Dr. Carmosky is the best psychiatrist I have ever seen. I highly recommend her, whether it's your first time going to a psychiatrist or you need ongoing medication management. She ordered testing that no other doctor had thought to do and found physiological explanations for why certain medications don't work for me. She is flexible with scheduling and I was able to get an appointment with her fairly ...
There are absolutely no words to describe the experience I had with this doctor. Please do yourself a favor and don’t subject yourself to her lack of human interaction and nastiness
Dr. Carmosky is very rude, pushy, condescending and downright mean. She offers no scheduling flexibility when scheduling appointments 3 months out. She knows that I have a new job and work in a demanding industry, yet she would flat out decline when I’d try to reschedule an appointment in advance. Recently, I missed an appointment while away on a business trip which was followed by thanksgiving travel. ...
I went to her for my ADHD, Depression and Anxiety medication maintenance. The first thing she did was try to discredit my ADHD diagnosis made by a Psychologist and then she tried to blame my ADHD symptoms on the amount of caffeine I drink and the amount of sleep I get. Carmosky then prescribed me sleeping pills and when I refused, because of having children an animal's that might need me at night. She asked me " Why couldn't my husband take care of them?" I told her he will, but I am their Mom and she looked at me like that was the stupidest thing she had ever heard. She has no idea how to treat ADHD and clearly does not believe in it. I felt judged and every time I had to go see her, my anxiety level went way up.
After several calls to schedule an appointment, Donna Carmosky personally declined our request in a very rude behavior because of the language barrier. I don't know how this person is working as psychiatrist in US with this attitude! Not only it's not ethical to refuse scheduling an appointment because of the language barrier, but also it has legal issues according to the following legislation: -Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 -HHS Policy Guidance on the Prohibition against National Origin Discrimination for LEP persons - Dept. of Justice Guidance Regarding Prohibition against National Origin Discrimination for LEP persons -Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards for Healthcare - Executive Order 13166 - Strategic Plan to Improve Access to HHS Programs and Activities by LEP persons - Affordable Care Act (ACA), Section 1557 I kindly ask Dr. Carmosky to read these rules that may help her to learn how to behave as a psychiatrist with a client with language barrier!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
