Dr. Ratchford is ok but his staff is HORRIBLE !!! Especially the office manager. They are rude and disrespectful... I've decided I can't take it anymore despite the fact that I like Dr. R. I would go somewhere else if I were you and spare yourself the grief.

I continued to see Dr. R despite the mistreatment I experienced from his staff but I can't take it anymore. I've decided to go to a different doctor. Recommend you go somewhere else and spare yourself the grief.

Has poor bedside manner and is rude. My husband had appt with him too and felt same way. I went to him once for a physical and a few times for other sick-type visits, as I felt maybe one of the visits was an anomaly. His diagnosis for the sick visits was pretty decent, but when it comes to treatment and helping make decisions/next steps he is abrupt and I felt rushed out of the office. Office staff and facility are great.

Mr. "I went to medical school" lacks the ability to diagnose and treat patients. All around not a good doc. I definitely would go see someone else who will actually sit and listen and try to solve your issue. If he can't see it, it isn't there. Never will I go to bull run family med again. Go see a real doc peeps. Stay away.

I’ve been seeing him for a while. Today I came to him with a problem that’s been going on for a year. I wanted to do tests to find out what the problem was and not just try to mask the symptom like last time. Told me point blank nobody wants to spend thousands of dollars on you to figure out what’s causing this. Gee thanks for caring. Something that’s impacting my quality of life and you just want to treat the symptom instead of getting to the route cause. Thanks!

I second the comments before. All is well when it is for a routine check up but when you really need something, he turns it down. Very rude and arrogant. A friend of OTC medicine and poor diagnostic skills.
