i found him to be very helpful. understood my issues & appeared to address them. all i can say is i am feeling better after talking to him.

I dont understand some of the negative reviews. He's an amazing doctor. Very easy to schedule appointments with and the appointments are always on time. He takes his time listening to my concerns. The consultation is a bit expensive, but it becomes much cheaper after. Don't listen to the very few negative review. Go call and schedule your appointment right now with Dr.Akram

I am probably one of Dr. Akram's earliest patients in Reston. Dr. Akram is EXELLENT, I would recommend him to everyone. He listens well, accomplishes much in a short timeframe and doesn't waste your time, he gets right to the point, diagnoses accurately, and was able to quickly help me whereas others had failed over many, many years. Dr. Akram seems to have the latest and most current education to use in helping you. I greatly appreciate his help, I am at a completely different place now than I was a year ago, or five, ten years ago for that matter.

Did not address concerns. Very short - does not get to the true issue, doesn't listen to concerns about medications. Charges a RIDICULOUS amount of money for every little thing. 15 min appointments are $175. Any medical letters are cut and pasted from other patients with little true relevant information about patient and cost a fortune. Find someone else.

Seeing him for about a year. Appointments are to the point. Speaks English well, hardly any accent. Sharp guy, knows his stuff. Benefited me. Glad I chose him.

Treats you with dishonesty from the start. $$$$. Would not recommend.

Dr.Akram has been my doctor for over 7 years. He is kind,compassionate,and he really cares about his patients. He is extremely knowledgeable about medications and takes the time to answer any and all questions or concerns. He REALLY listens to what I say,and I trust him completely. He has treated my son who went through a serious depression and has also worked with my mother who is having great difficulty with her memory since her 77th birthday. He is simply the best and I highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Akram on-and-off for years now, and he has never disappointed me in his ability to listen, correctly diagnose, and properly prescribe. He is very easy to talk to and you can tell he truly cares about/remembers the details of his patients. Recently he saw me the next day after I called him in need of his services without hesitation, something I really appreciated. And immediately my outlook and quality of everyday life began improving. Highly recommended.
