List of Jack C. Huang's Reviews
For the past 20 years I've relied on Dr. Huang's excellent care and diagnosis. He is the most professional, knowledgeable, personable doctor I know. I came with problems -- he solved all of them!!
Friendly and efficient front desk staff. Dr Huang explains symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment possibilities in clear terms. He asks pertinent questions, listens to my explanations, and then answers my queries.
Overall, I would not recommend this doctor. He had very poor bedside manner, made the patient feel incompetent and belittled, and did not seem to express any actual care towards the patient - they were merely a box to check off. He was quick to over-prescribe medications that were unneeded, and disregarded previous labs that were completed.
Bad doctor with very poor bedside manner. My sibling felt like he was just trying to shovel medication down my throat, like he gets some kind of commission for how many prescriptions he prescribes to patients. He told them to go take a test they already took like two weeks earlier. So it was like he didn't even review the chart before walking into the room to meet with them, then proceeded to tell them the blood work they took didn't really matter anyway. They had a question about the medication he wanted to prescribe he said well if you dont take the medicine, then you'll just get cancer. Was he trying to scare them into taking medication? It was very discouraging. He didn't even address all the abnormalities in the blood work. They are going to find a new doctor so they can really receive the medical care they deserve, because he is a poor excuse for a doctor.
Respect, caring, concerned.
Dr Jack C. Huang is very attentive and good listener Doctor..
Best customer service, caring and attention
Very professional and knowledgeable, and friendly also.
I would highly recommend Dr. Huang to anyone needing a good gastro doctor.. He is an excellent doctor and cares for his patients and their well beings. I am happy to have such a good doctor. And his staff are knowledgeable and friendly which is hard to find these days. I absolutely recommend Dr. Huang.
FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR (do not waste your time, nor your energy, nor you money, nor your gas, nor your emotional and physical well being, you deserve better. We all do. Update-found an amazing GI and Hepatologist in DC). Here is why; Our visit with Dr. Jack Huang of Gastro Health, Manassas, was abysmally out-of-touch, egregiously endangering in its' absence of awareness regarding complicated multiprong medical comorbidities. He also was unable to explain basic physiology and anatomy when asked questions regarding organ functioning, or lack thereof/malfunctioning, that would result in the manifested symptoms we came in to discuss. He said, "I don't understand the question," when asked "why, as in what is the cause (or some causes) most frequently associated with abdominal accompanied by a mysterious rash, indigestion, and a distended abdomen following the consumption of both solids and liquids." He was at a loss for words. Again. 2. In addition his demeanor was immediately illustrative of an "antithetical to-woke- attitude-and-education, when it comes to women's health and his wommyn who have had extreme childhood trauma. Unacceptable and quite frankly; abhorrent treatment of a human being let alone a woman and her family coming in for advice, diagnosis and direction (of which he provided none, handed us a meager pamphlet with information that anyone with a mind could research on google). In fact, after reviewing my complicated medical history, he appeared overwhelmed and not long thereafter, he suggested "he could not help us, he didn't know what he could do for us." We should have left at this point, this was our only mistake. Dr. Huang was hopeless and unprofessionaly, arrogant, without, I might add, a damn good reason to be. (Heads up; if he wants to compare educational backgrounds and judge a human beings worth based accordingly, our family went to Harvard and Yale and he went to Columbia (recently taken off the IVY LEAGUE list 2022,). This aside, a humans worth is unequivocally, and we would hope obviously NOT (but apparently not in his case) determined by his/her/their access or his/her/their lack of access (due to racism, sexism, classism) to education! Dr. Huang: First, do no harm! Then, if you do, have the decency to apologize and redeem yourself if redemption is even possible in such an instance. In summation; * Pertinent to note, his (should he choose to use that pronoun, I won't speak on his behalf) reception staff were exceptionally accommodating, receptive and clearly well-versed on preventative COVID-19 safety protocols. This review in no way reflects their high level of professionalism. This review speaks directly to the physicians blatantly apparent ineptitude and ignorance regarding the above array of outlined medical issues. Also a fat shamer and a mansplainer ,I'm 5'9 and 183lbs right now after having gained 70lbs (which I'm trying to loose) because of 2+ years of being immunocompromised during a pandemic and related stressors including west coast wildfire evacuations.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
