Nicholas J Tannous's Online Review Report Card

I met Dr. Tannous in the Germantown office about treatment for the severe neck pain I have been experiencing. He presented a plan of treatment that I agreed to and was scheduled for my first injection. I was very pleased with Dr. Tannous and felt comfortable having him treat me and went through with my first injection on one side of my neck. I was scheduled for another injection on the other side of my neck two weeks later. When I arrived the nurse was going through the protocol of verifying the place of injection the type of injection and the Doctors name. She did not say Dr. Tannous. Instead she said Dr. Rodriguez. I asked her to clarify that because I was supposed to be seeing Dr. Tannous. I was informed that Dr. Tannous was no longer there. The staff were very mum about him and the fact that Dr. Rodriguez would be treating me like it was no big deal. I explained that I had no idea who Dr. Rodriguez was and was not informed that Dr. Tannous would not be there. The nurses asked Dr. Rodriguez to come over and introduce himself to me. I also told him that I was not informed about Dr. Tannous not being there. He responded Hes been long gone. I said that he gave me a treatment two week prior and that was NOT that long ago. Then he said that Dr. Tannous informed them that he would be leaving two months ago. If Dr. Tannous knew he was going to be leaving the practice why did he agree to see a new patient and explain a plan of treatment that was going to go on for over a month or more??? I was not pleased with the lack of communication from this office and will not be returning.
