I was very impressed with Dr. Arshad’s communication skills. I expected a quick symptom review, a few tests, and to be sent away without any answers. Instead we discussed the likely diagnosis and identified additional topics for future discussion. I felt like we had both a short term and a long term plan for verifying the initial diagnosis, treating my symptoms, and taking steps to mitigate future health problems.

Dr. Arshad is smart, up-to-date on the latest cardiac-related research and a calm, articulate communicator. I went to her after my open heart surgery to monitor my heart valves, lipids and overall heart health. I do not feel rushed during my appointments and it is obvious she cares about her patients.
