Dr. Hafner was referred to me by a friend. He is affable enough, however I have been seeing him since 6/23 and still have issues with my feet. Purchasing costly devices (one ill fitting) did not improve my condition. I have called the office 3 times over a week, asking for a return call which I have yet to receive. I find this lack of a response unacceptable.

Pretty good dr and no issues with treatment. The reston practice seems incapable of handling insurance claims which cost me a lot of money out of pocket. The business office was not helpful and basically blew me off when I needed help. Not going back here.

this office over charges for basic supplies like a toe sleeve which cost $10 for the same item that can be purchased for $.50 each on amazon for a pack of 20 for $10.

Yay Dr. Hafner! Dr. Hafner has been my doctor for four years. He repaired two Jones fractures for me and "walked" me through the process of healing a third break. He is always willing to listen to my concerns and is always professional. He is truly a gifted surgeon and compassionate healthcare provider. I HIGHLY recommend him and the staff at Reston Foot and Ankle Center.

I visited Dr. Hafner last year for a second opinion. I find him to be friendly, courteous, professional, as well as a skilled surgeon. Every visit, he went out of his way to explain procedures and asked if I had questions--I've never felt rushed. When conservative treatments failed to alleviate my pain, he explained my option of surgery as a last resort. I have a complicated case, but reading his education and credentials, I felt confident that he could help me, and he has!! Highly recommend!!!

I was treated by Dr. Hafner for a fracture.. He Is knowledgeable, friendly, and takes time to listen to and answer questions. He does not rush, which is rare these days..

I contacted the Foot & Ankle Center (Reston Podiatry Associates Ltd) for a second opinion regarding an ankle sprain that was not healing properly and was assigned Dr. Hafner. He was courteous, knowledgable and professional. He took his time to explain exactly what happened to my ankle when I injured it and why it was not healing as quickly as the previous podiatrist declared. He suggested multiple treatment options and was honest about the length of time needed for recovery.

Sorry, but he didn't help me with a chronicly stiff, sore ankle that's been sprained 3-4 times. He took an X-ray and told me to wear an ankle brace, ice it, and take anti-inflammatories. The problem has gotten worse, and I need to find a knowledgeable, skilled doctor who can actually treat the problem. Dr. Hafner may be a smart guy, but he needs more experience & knowledge to treat problems like mine.
