List of Anxiety Institute Mclean Ocd & Anxiety Therapy's Reviews
I cannot recommend this program enough. The staff is caring and knowledgable about ocd and anxiety. Becca Birman is an outstanding clinician who brings expertise, warmth and genuine compassion to her work. She is known among psychiatrists and fellow therapists as an expert in treating, ocd, phobias and emetophobia. I have consulted with her on challenging cases. She is a wonderful resource for other clinicians. If you or a loved one is struggling with ocd or anxiety-related issues, Rebecca is one of the best!
Very thorough and effective educational event
Excellent overview of pediatric OCD, what it is and how it is treated, explaining the differences from OCD in adults.
I have worked with the team at the Anxiety Institute for many years and find them very warm and welcoming. Their treatment approach very much aligns with mine, which makes it easier to refer clients and partner with them. I have also attended several workshops that Becca Berman has hosted and always learn something new. Her depth of knowledge is amazing and she obviously shares that with her wonderful team. I look forward to working with them again sometime in the future.
Truly an "A Team" to tackle this complex subject. Favorite parts? Understanding the cycle of anxiety, aka "The Natural Course of an Emotion." Eamples of listening skills (e.g.,“I want to make sure I heard that” or “Did I hear that?”) that do not involve fixing anything. Destigmatizing unhealthy or highly processed foods, if nutritional intake is of major concern. Thank you, again.
Great presentation with incredibly informative discussion on the nuance of providing treatment for OCD through a neurodivergent affirming lens. Very interested in more information on this topic.
When we started working with Anxiety Institute, I was informed that it would be a one-month outpatient treatment program for my son. However, as the month ended, they insisted that he absolutely needed another month. After that was completed, they stated he required at least one more week. Upon finishing that week, they reluctantly agreed he could conclude the treatment, but noted he would still require additional therapy with them. Today, he feels the treatment did nothing for him, and I believe it was an incredible waste of $70,000. Afterwards, when they realized there was no more money coming to them, they did not care and there was no follow-up from them. Be very careful of any outpatient service that cares more about making money than your child. There must be a better plan for children in need. Unfortunately, this was not one of them.
Great presentation and information on a topic that is rarely covered but definitely needed! Very helpful!
Wonderful- informative and interesting. I will definitely apply what I learned when counseling my students!
I was impressed with the structure and presentations which provided valuable therapeutic information!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
