We have been going to McLean Pediatrics, specifically to Dr. Thiede for over 16 years. She is a warm, compassionate and knowledgable doctor. My 3 kids all ask for her when they have to go in for their checkups.

We relocated to this area recently and this office has been recommended by a friend. I called the office four times to make an appointment to get flu shots for my kids. First time, they said flu shots were not available, so they didn't want to establish our documents as new patients. Second time, they closed the office during their business hours. They told me they had meeting that morning ( what if the patients need them at their business hours?) Third time, the staff transferred me to new patients coordinator, and nobody answered the phone. I left her a message,but nobody called back. Just now, I called again, I was told I have to have my kids get physical exam first to get flu shots. How ridiculous! I'm patient enough to give this office enough chances to get my family, but they disappointed me again and again. This is the worst office I've ever had!

A great pediatrician-she is very calm and thorough with each visit. She will give you great medical advise but also believes in letting informed parents make the best decisions for their children. The office staff is helpful and friendly as well.
