Dr Scott abruptly left OrthoVirginia this month. Does anybody know where he ended up going? I am in the middle of treatment with him after having two surgeries performed by him!

I hesitated for a long time (three months) to leave a review, while I waited to see how the surgery turned out. Initially, I had high expectations, based on his overall good ratings online. First, I have to agree with people who said he did not explain things very well. He is a man of few words. Second, I specifically asked him to correct my ulnar positive wrist. He did not do that; the wrist is still ulnar positive after surgery. Third, after wrist surgery, I lost feeling and had tingling nerves in three fingers, and very little wrist flexion. I kept telling him this, during my visits, and he kept saying that it would be fine. Finally, three months after the surgery, without addressing my concerns, he left the group practice. The group practice sent me to a new hand surgeon, who immediately said she has to perform a carpal release for the nerves, and will eventually have to remove the metal plate he put in, because it is not allowing flexion of the wrist. I need TWO MORE surgeries

Most garbage doctor in the entire area. DO not use him. my first meeting with him was poor, he barely looked at my injury. Then had to schedule a follow up a month later. His garbage office calls me an hour before my appt and they said he cant see me tht day, have to reschedule. Reschedule to the next week and I get a call on that day and they cancel on me an hour before because their office needed "cleaning". Worst doctor in this entire history of doctors. Just garbage ettiquette

Dr. Scott is extremely thorough in his consultation and evaluation. He did not rush into surgery but looked at all the options. He is a very thoughtful surgeon and he is well respected by his colleagues.

Everything is perfect But do you need to contact the patient and send him a reminder Dr. Scott is very good doctor but in my opinion he need to talk to the patient more and explain the situation but all overall they are very good

Loved working with Dr. Scott. He didn't push surgery and worked with me to find ways for me to heal without a knife. I'd go back to this guy any day!
