It’s impossible to make an appointment or ask a question as they don’t answer phone. If you are able to get through the staff is very rude and impatient. Dr. Bicksel spends very much time during the appointmentwith the patient. I would NOT recommend this practice.

A wonderful doctor that help a lot and you can ask him whatever you want and he will help and answer God Bless him ??

Dr. Bicksel is a Neurologist who immensely enjoys his patients. His demeanor is like that of sitting beside your favorite Uncle while he takes as much time as both of you need while he explains your condition. Dr. Bicksel encourages questions and refreshingly provides clear and lay-person understandable explanations. His medical approach to medical issues are detailed, precise, and thorough. I moved from northern VA to Georgia, and his Medical Knowledge and Practice is Superior to those in the Neurological Practice which my insurance chose for me here. The first Neurologist I saw in GA told me in less-than 5 minutes that I do not have the diagnosis made by Dr. Bicksel even though I told her I take medication for my medical condition. Her diagnosis was based upon my observed "normal" behavior - on med prescribed by Dr. Bicksel. I fired her (that was very difficult to do) when she refused to prescribe the medication that treats my condition.

I did not go to Dr. Bicksel even though I wanted to make an appointment with him -- the practice insists on getting your credit card information before you can make an appointment. I will not be held hostage to this type of agreement.

I recently switched from another practice where I felt like i was not being heard. Dr. Bicksell listened to me and I felt like his recommendations much more closely matched what I was telling him. I appreciate his time and attention. I didn't feel rushed or like he already had made up his mind before listening to me.

Dr Bicksel worked with me through a severe migraine episode earlier this year. His staff were great in working me into the schedule, and he was great in working with me to find the right combination of treatment options to get me out of the woods and keep me there. He is up on the latest treatments, works to understand each patient's unique circumstances and takes the time to discuss and confirm that it works at all levels. I have already recommended to friends and family, and will continue to do so.

Dr. Bicksel is wonderful. He is treating my husband for Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease which is not easy, but he really listens and wants to do everything he can to make his patients quality of life better. He is always up to date on new medications and clinical trials. He is the best. C Lundy
