List of Liza A Moore's Reviews
Dr. Moore has terrible bed side service. I brought my husband and step son to her. She shared her marital issues with my husband. She told my husband her husband cheated on her and had a separate family. I thought that was inappropriate and it got worse. She proceeded to request my husband on Instagram and then comment flirty messages on his page. I called her out then she blocked me. I found messages from her to my husband calling me a stalker. She is beyond unprofessional and She needs to be held accountable for her terrible behavior.
I am writing this review after seeing Dr.Moore 1 single time. A significant number of dermatologist had been unable to even see the discoloration on my dark skin following the rashes on my neck. Dr. Moore had no problem outlining the areas that were flaring up though, reviewed my medical history with me, and gave me dietary advice that has lead to clear skin, and a loss of 35lbs since my visit in 3 months ago. I am so much more conscious of what I’m putting in my body, not even a dang dietitian saw the resolution coming as they meal planned for me including much of the food that was bothering. I felt discarded by so many doctors after being chalked up as “hives “ or just “sensitive skin” . I’m forever a better person.
My skin was in the worst condition when I came to Dr. Moore. I am so glad I did and am happy with the results.
Had a great experience. The office is very clean and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Moore was very nice and extremely knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and provided great information and advice. I look forward to returning for my next appointment.
This office charged my insurance $130 for a 20 minute appointment that wasn't even with the Dr. The nurse spoke with me the entire time, and all she did was tell me to take biotin and buy some hair growth supplement that their office sells for $200 (when I could buy it online for $80). I could've just googled everything they told me. Waste of time and Money
Dr. Moore was recommended to me by a friend and I have been seeing her for a few months now. She is incredibly jovial and listened to everything I said before recommending/sending in prescriptions for me. My skin is much clearer now, so I wanted to target scars and hyperpigmentation. I was given the option for microneedling with PRP at her office, or, if I wanted to go the laser route, she gave me the name and number to another practice that offered it. That's how I knew that this was the right office for me. Thank your Dr. Moore and staff, you've restored my faith in dermatology once more.
Dr. Moore is the best. I never feel rushed.
She is pretty much a salesperson of her products. I went to her for a consultation. Every question I asked about skin care was followed by her saying that she recommends a product that she sells at her office. I tried to get her to recommend alternative more natural/less harsh products but she kept on insisting on her products that are not found anywhere else. I'm black and the ONLY reason I went to her is because she is black and I thought I was in good hands with a doc with same skin complexion as me ---I was WRONG. Avoid at all costs. The sad part is she is associated with INOVA hospital, I really thought she would be at the top of her game, but nope. The one star i'm giving is for the pretty office and the free drink/coffee they offer at the reception.
I had multiple visits at this practice. All the appointments very rushed and lasted approximately 10 mins. The doctor seems fine. Medical staff did not remove some stitches completely, so while it was not a serious issue, I can’t recommend them. Also note that they expect payment in full at the following visit even if it is just a week later without even sending you a bill in the mail or giving you a statement. Parking is extremely limited. Paid parking is available but runs $10 an hour!
5/5 for skin cancer screening, 0/5 for telling me I had mild rosacea without asking any questions about my medical history or skincare routine when I actually have eczema and sensitive skin, and recently used a product too harsh for my face. The irritation is barely noticeable and getting clearer every day, I do not have rosacea. Also, instead of explaining rosacea and offering any treatment options to keep it from getting worse, she tried to sell me expensive treatment for the few fine lines on my forehead. I'm 22 and there are a million other options I will try before that, thanks. Overall I felt very brushed off by her. I waited in the waiting room for 40 minutes, was with her for about 10. Other staff are very friendly and nice, but I do not intend to go back to this establishment.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
