Had a recent DIEP flap procedure with Dr. Mark Venturi. He described options while working with my breast surgeon for nipple sparing bilateral mastectomy for my DCIS diagnosis early jan 2022. All I can say is they are phenomenal. I didn’t even get a second opinion. I had faith with speaking with my physicians that he’s one of the best in the area. I forgot his nurses name in the office but she was so sweet and thorough explaining what to expect post op. I see Gretchen for my post op Follow up visits at his office. Dr. Venturi and his staff are absolutely amazing. I've had two procedures done by him, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He is a great surgeon. I am very happy with my results. I would recommend him over and over again.

Dr. Venturi and his staff are absolutely first rate! Had a wonderful experience getting my chin implant done there and am so very pleased with the results!

If I could give Dr. Venturi 6 stars, I would! I consulted with him after meeting with a fellow plastic surgeon who gave me inaccurate information about the DIEP Flap and Double Mastectomy surgery. I learned through a lot of research that you really need a highly specialized skilled neurosurgeon to do this surgery and Dr. Venturi is perhaps the best in the country. Dr. Venturi and his team were not deterred by my large amount of scar tissue and spent over 10.5 hours performing my double mastectomy and DIEP Flap reconstruction surgery. The results are quite literally perfect!!! I think I look better than before, and the healing process was much easier than I thought it would be. Dr. Venturi made a depressing diagnosis have a positive outcome and I am incredibly grateful for his professionalism, skill and kindness throughout this entire process. :) If I could give Dr. Venturi 6 stars, I would! I was diagnosed with early stage breast cancer in July 2020 and was referred to Dr Venturi by my breast surgeon. I had three previous breast reductions by other plastic surgeons which would make this a bit more of a challenge, hence why I was referred to him.. He was out of Network at the time but I wanted to ensure the best possible outcome so we decided to use him anyway. My double mastectomy and expander placement was uneventful and occurred in October 2020. At this time they were working to get in Network with my Insurance provider so we elected to delay the expander exchange. I had my initial reconstruction in June 2021 along with a tummy tuck and the results were not as I hoped. Due to the fact that Dr Venturi had always made me feel welcomed to express my concerns and I never felt pushed off, I was able to communicate easily my concerns. He listened and never once made me feel bad for wanting what I perceived as "perfection". I found my implants to be to low which created this space on my chest that to me felt like a huge dip (reality NO ONE else would have ever noticed it) and was a constant reminder to me of the day I was diagnosed. I had my second surgery November 2021 and the result is perfect to me. I am 110% happy and would recommend anyone to go see him. I feel like he truly listens, is a perfectionist, and ultimately wanted me to be satisfied. I have been going to his office for over a year and find his medical assistants along with the PA's Gretchen & Louisa to always be helpful, professional, knowledgable and pleasant. I have also found it very easy to work with his OR scheduler Debbie and she responds quickly to emails and has addressed any concerns I have. Now if you are still reading it means you are truly vested in finding the right fit for you. The only draw back I found in the office is that I have had not great experiences with the front staff (which have seemed to change quite often) and billing. I do however appreciate that the front staff and billing are probably typically met with patients who are upset because things are running late, having support people being asked to leave because of their COVID protocols, and phones that never seem to stop ringing. As for billing, I mean who likes to get a bill 😉. In my case I had made a down payment for the cosmetic portion of my June surgery and then cancelled because of the Insurance Network Status. When I rescheduled I was told I had a zero balance after paying the cosmetic portion in full. I was surprised to receive a bill 13 months after my initial surgery when I thought I had a zero balance. Billing approached me with two claims to show me what was paid which was not my question because I track my own claims. She was unable to show me where the bill came from and actually took me reviewing all my notes to figure out what happened. I owe the money and will be happy to pay it, but she was not friendly at all and was certainly not interested in trying to help me figure out what happened. I share this portion with you because if you encounter one of these negatives at the beginning do not let it stop you from receiving care here. For me personally, the most important part of a practice are the clinical providers. Fingers crossed my surgical days are behind me but if for any reason I should need more surgery I will go back to Dr Venturi! Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month I want to give a shout out to my amazing plastic surgeon, Dr Mark Venturi and his amazing staff. He has taken such good care of me since 2016. I had a double mastectomy with tissue expanders. My results were awesome considering it was breast reconstruction. I know every breast cancer treatment and case is different but he gave me the best possible outcome. Several of my pink sisters and friends decided to use him after seeing my results. He is caring and listens to your desires and needs and will guide you in the right direction whether it be implants or diep flap. He uses the newest technology in surgeries especially using the Spy instruments by Stryker Medical to make sure there is enough blood flow to your tissue and nipples. He is the best! I was referred to Dr. Venturi by a friend when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. From the first visit Dr. Venturi and his staff were amazing.I came in for double mastectomy with Diep flap consult. He took his time to explain the procedure to it’s entirely and answered all my questions. He made me feel better about my choice and turned a scary situation around foe me. I chose Dr. Venturi to perform my mastectomy and I am so happy I did. He did an amazing job and now I love my new breast!!!. It’s worth mentioning that I know of several friends who have had work done by others but ended up coming to Dr. Venturi to correct the mistake. Dr. Venturi is an outstanding surgeon and truly does beautiful job! I trust only him with any procedure and refer everyone to him. I am a former patient of Dr Venturi that underwent breast implants surgery due to a double mastectomy from breast cancer . Dr Venturi performed the important surgery and inserted the implants under the muscle. The result was a lot of pain when I used my pectoral muscles and deformed breasts that included rippling . On several post surgery visits with Dr Venturi , I complained abut the pain and deformed appearance of the breasts . I inquired what could be done to eliminate the pain and correct the appearance, I underwent another surgery with Dr Venturi again (this is the third surgery on my breast ) Dr Venturi inserted the implants under my muscle again . The result was one breast much bigger and higher than the other , both breast harder and much more deformed . I again complained to Dr Venturi, and he offered to operate a third time Surgery, Since Dr Venturi did not succeed with the prior two surgeries, I lost trust in his abilities to cure the pain and deformities. Having multiple surgeries , I become desperate and cried at the situation I fund myself in . I then sought surgery help from another Doctors : Dr Morris Mahbidiam , he took the time to explain to me the pain and difficultés I was experiencing with the implants inserted behind the muscle , rippling and mal alignment of the implants. Dr Mahbidian performed the Fourth surgery , he inserted the implants on top of the muscle. Of course, the post surgically there was pain and bleeding which is expected, but I am fortunate the pectoral muscle pain is diminishing day by day , and the appearance is much better than what Dr Venturi was able to achieve . I cannot forget Dr Venturi’s arrogance , and basic uncaring about the surgical outcome and that is why I am writing this review. No patient should be treated this way , least of all someone trying to fight cancer. For shame , Dr Venturi ! I met Dr. Venturi during the darkest time of my life. After 7 years of failed reconstructions, depression and no hope to regain my self esteem and womanhood. This man took his time to carefully plan a strategy with his partners on how to make me whole that has finally given me the confidence to date once again without worrying of my looks as woman. I’m only one step away of being able to look whole again. It wasn’t easy and a long road but Dr. Venturi and his staff made me feel like family. To have the staff individually tell me they prayed for me on the day I had my biggest surgery which took almost 10hrs and two surgeons is not the treatment you will ever received. I love my plastic surgeon and his staff!!! I would drop on the sword with their professionalism and kindness. A broken 2x breast cancer survivor with numerous failed reconstructions and broken spirit and hope. Take a leap of faith! They are the best! I met Dr. Venturi during the darkest time of my life.
