List of Thriveworks Counseling & Psychiatry Mclean's Reviews
Having to update my therapist every time on what we discussed was very annoying. I decided to switch to a more genuine therapist who actually seems invested in what I’m going through
Ophelia is a great listener! She has helped my husband and I to communicate better.
Great I really liked the counselor she was very patient & gave me great suggestions on things that I could work on. She made me comfortable as this was my first time seeing a counselor.. looking forward to making life changes…
Best decision I’ve made.
When the NP came onto the Zoom call for my appointment she was eating a sandwich. Great impression during the entire session. Her talking with her mouth full several times, picking her teeth with her ffingers and she also did a wonderful job of picking her nose! Okay, she only picked her nose twice when she thought I wasn't looking. She was abrupt and I felt on the offensive the entire time.
Can’t wait to just talk next Saturday!
Professional and personable
Lauren has been affirming & kind while also challenging me to dig into areas I had not thought about & face emotions I didn’t think I was strong enough to tackle on my own.
Working on yourself means no time is wasted.😌
Setting up my first virtual session was very easy. So far so good

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
