I am very devastated and disappointed by this doctor! I lost my 29 year old son 4 months ago. I came to see Dr Ortiz who at first was very compassionate and willing to listen. He put me on medication to help me deal with my grief and now has cut me off 3 months later at the worst time of my life! I came in with my sister about her medication that she has been on for 20 years and was also cut off, I tried to speak up for her and was shushed by him like a child! He is very arrogant and eventually shows his true colors! I do not recommend this Dr or Medowview Clinic!

Is the best doctor that will listen and talk to you about how to get it fixed he always has eye contact he explains things in ways that his patients will understand I am so happy to have finally found a doctor that takes care and don’t push medication on the best doctor I have had in 25 years thanks so much Dr. Ortiz I would recommend anyone to see him

I moved here from Buffalo & loved Dr Ortiz at first. Then I had some issues with pain management (I'm disabled) and him & his nurse began treating me like an addict. All I needed was an IN STATE referral, but he kept sending me out of state. My Medicare was accepted there, but I'm on SSD & can't afford the 20 % of the remainder. He made several rude comments to me during my last couple appts. Pain refugees, like me, are being abandoned by doctors, because of a problem we had nothing to do with. I thought he was better than that. He proved me wrong.

Dr. Ortiz doesn’t care about his patients, just the money he gets from them. He is uninformative, and he can be very arrogant, and rude.

Dr. Ortiz is very rude, and careless. He is the most dishonest physician I’ve ever been to. He orders lab work almost every visit, but never discusses the results, or diagnosis with me. He ignores my messages, and he withholds information, and paperwork, that he’s assured me would be sent where it needed to go. He’s always in a hurry, and fails to take the time to discuss all of my health issues. He use to be nice, but he’s turned into a mean, arrogant, dishonest, and very apathetic Doctor.

Our first visit with Dr. Ortiz yesterday was awesome. His office staff are very professional and the office is spotless. The lab tech who did my bloodwork was wonderful and made it painless. So glad we found Dr. Ortiz!

Wrong diagnoses based solely on his opinion which has cost me an extended length of illness. All diagnoses should have to be backed by scientific proof.

I was surprised to find such excellent care in a small clinic. He’s as good as any specialist I’ve been to.

If it weren't for Dr. Ortiz and his caring nature my wife would be dead now. He is a blessing to this area and I hope he stays.
