I have had a compassionate and expert experience provided to me for a screening colonoscopy by Dr J Coury. I have worked alongside Dr J Coury as an OR nurse at Memorial Regional Medical Center and I highly recommend him. He puts his patient's best interest first and manages their surgical care with high regard for achieving the best possible outcome. His caring and respectful interactions with fellow OR and Endoscopy healthcare teams has a tremendously positive impact on meeting his patient's expectations. I highly recommend him for Colon and Rectal care!

Dr Coury has been my surgeon for 2 years. He is an amazing and talented physician. Kind and compassionate. His office staff is courteous and quick to return my calls. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

Dr. Coury was on call for the hospital where I was in pain and in urgent need of colon surgery. He was very thorough in assessing and recommending a course of surgery. His personality was warm, communication was clear, and he inspired confidence in my family. When we agreed on the plan, he quickly mobilized the surgery team, and performed the surgery; I have had a rapid recovery 2 weeks out. In our follow-up visit, he answered all our questions and gave me a long-term plan for the future. My wife and I were so impressed that we will switch to him for future colonoscopies.

I was referred by my doctor. I tried calling, but you have to leave a message and supposedly they will call back. Nope. I am going to get my doctor to refer me to someone else.

If I could leave more stars I would. Dr. Coury is an absolute amazing doctor,he has wonderful bedside manner he listens to all your concerns worries and problems. I have had horrible stomach problems for 15 years and went to more specialists and different doctors than I could count and none of them could help me , or figure out my problem and alot brushed me off.I went to coury and this doctor not only listened to my issues I was having but he got to the bottom and figured out the issues I was having for the past 15 years ,he did a major surgery on me and when he came in to check on me the next day at the hospital he sat down and talked with me and listened and was there. I can't not say anything but good and high things about this doctor I highly recommend him he truly is amazing.

Had my 1st Colonoscopy screening and Dr Coury and his staff took excellent care of me. The nurses were great and explained everything that would be taking place during my procedure. They made me feel at ease- from the time that I arrived to the moment that I left. I would definitely recommend Dr Coury and staff!

I am a colon cancer survivor. These people are unorganized and unprofessional. They gave me wrong information (and neglected to tell me other info) and after going through the clean out process and not eating for 24 hours they tell me they can't do the colonoscopy because of issues they neglected to tell me about. Stay clear of them!
