I had a terrible experience with Dr Diane Johnson after her being my physician for almost seven years. She put me on an antiviral medication that caused a severe reaction and denied she knew the reaction came from the drug. She practically laughed about my unwillingness to continue to take the drug and called in a colleague of hers to verify that the adverse reaction did not come from the drug when they both knew it did. She almost threw me out of her office because she did not know how to treat my illness except with standard drugs that I did not agree with at the time. Every time I seen this specialist I was examined by a resident that was learning Infectious Disease and did not know what they were doing I was their lesson for the day. One of her MD was allowed to prescribe an antiviral for me then when I called her about my adverse reaction told me not to come back into the office but "go to my primary physician". I demanded to return to the physician who prescribed the medication which was DR Johnson. She in the end refereed me out because I was a knowledgeable healthcare professional and she did not know how to handle me.

Dr. Diane Johnson is a very caring doctor, she listens to you. she is very,very, good at what she do. I have known her since year2000, and every one who goes to her only says great things. She is one of the best in powhatan va!!!

Dr. Johnson is a real professional. She is knowledgable, straightforward, and kind. She treated me when I was in the hospital and for a few weeks after, and I found her to be an excellent doctor...one in whom I could have complete trust. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.
