I went to Dr Taylor for a sinus issue I was having and I couldn't hear out my right ear. I was told that I had a cold and was given an over the counter med that did NOT work for my issue. I have been going the for 8 years and every summer I have always had an issue with my sinus'. So I took the meds I was told to get and suffered for an additional week. After a week of suffering I went to another Dr and he IMMEDIATELY diagnosed with a sinus infection and was given an antibiotic which I knew I needed from the get go. If you want to be misdiagnosed or waste your insurance go here. If not I recommend you go elsewhere, where they actually listen to your problem and fix it. I also asked for a refill on meds and was told I had to come in to get my refill. Keep in mind I just went less than 3 months ago and was told if I needed anything to call and she would call in refills which she didn't do. All she wants to do is make a claim on your insurance for no good reason. She is money hungry.

I've have seen Dr. Taylor numerous times both in-person (pre-Covid) & virtually. At no visit has she been helpful. Never has she shared expertise; instead, she consults her flowchart of symptoms, much like I have experienced at a CVS MinuteClinic. She is always late (even for an 8am appt), is never prepared, doesn't listen when I try to explain, and asks the same questions over and over. She is curt and unsympathetic. I'm willing to think she doesn't realize this, but I truly think SHE thinks she is saying/doing all the right things. I picked her because she is close and is covered by my insurance. I hate having to spend MORE money trying to find a GP (would totally do so for a specialist), so I have tried to tolerate Dr. Taylor. This last appointment, however, will be my last. I have tried to get my labs interpreted for WEEKS. Faxes "not received." Faxes that continue to be put on the bottom of the pile. No phone call back. I have followed up with her office twice and still no phone call back. For a frame of reference, I am a breast cancer survivor (state 2a with chemo/radiation), so I've been around the medical field enough to know things: amazing doctors and terrible doctors. In no way do I fancy myself a doctor, but through necessity, I have had to learn things and know when to leave a doctor's care (was told that my breast cancer was a doctor's "bread and butter, for God's sake!) to find a more suitable match. I will never make another appointment with Dr. Taylor.

Had to wait an hour for the appointment. In addition, when requested for lab work, she dismissed it not thinking lab work was necessary. Very disappointed. The appointment was a total waste of time.

ZERO stars! NEVER! NEVER! Take your chance with her. I was showing all signs and symptoms of cancer. Months of visits to Dr. Taylor and no diagnosis. I was in the ICU for weeks and saved by Johnston Willis Hospital.

Run. Don’t walk. Billing and coding entry’s entirely screwed up. Two routine office visits in July, paid office visit co pay. Coded as specialist visit. Got payment due bill early August. Spent 30 min to run this down. Assured would be recoded. Now have a $60 bill In late August. $10 due each from prior two visits, plus $30 from later July office visit. Another hour of my time, now to get their error corrected

The receptionist I spoke with over the phone and in person was very rude and prevented me from attending an emergency scheduled appt. in their office. Resulted in my having to unnecessarily make a 2nd trip to ER w/i a 1 week timeline where originally a pulled muscle diagnosis turned out to be Shingles. I attempted to tell her I was just in the ER less than a week prior, thought I might have Shingles but to no avail.I then called the ER after being blocked from making appt by receptionist and ER nurse instructed me to call Dr Taylor's office a 2nd time & explain what had occurred in less than 1 week timeline. I spoke to a 2nd staff member and she booked me an appt. When I arrived for the scheduled appt the original receptionist piped in to say she spoke to me this morning & I could not have this appt time & it was made in error because I was a new patient. I reiterated I only need to have this rash verified as Shingles, get medicine etc etc. A adamant no followed stating the best she could do was try to work me in an hour and a half. Therefore; I never got to meet Dr Taylor because this 1 receptionist was extremely rude, unprofessional, uncaring with total lack of empathy. Therefore, I canceled my future July appt with Dr Taylor and selected a new primary care dr. based on referral listing I received at 2nd trip to ER.

Her bedside manner is very questionable. She doesn't take the time to listen to your concerns. She could never keep up with my paper work.

In 2008, I started receiving services from Dr. Gail Taylor at this time Dr. Taylor was located on courthouse road. Since then, Dr. Taylor relocated to St. Francis hospital and even though it’s a bit of a drive for me I don’t mind. She’s a great doctor who is very knowledgeable. I will be honest when I say this, You may have to wait a while to be seen but I’m okay with that.

I think the doctors work was very good. It is the office staff that is the problem. They don't do things in a timely. Getting a emergency appointment is unlikely. Getting paperwork done for your work takes a long time. Its a shame because the doctor is a very good doctor.
