Garrison S. Bennett's Online Review Report Card

I am fairly new to the area. My Family Doctor recommended Dr. Bennett. I have to say that the staff could not have been nicer. Well trained, customer service oriented, knowledgeable & helpful. I was impressed with Dr. Bennett. He appeared to genuinely care about my health. My expectations were met. I come from a long career in Healthcare and I would definitely recommend this practice.

Dr. Bennett and his team (April) at Midlothian Family Practice are wonderful. Their interest in my "best health" and the personable care they've shown each visit has been exceptional. I have been seeing this team for several years now and I always receive professional, friendly and responsive service and get my questions answered. I am very pleased and would highly recommend this team to anyone who is looking for a primary care physician in the Midlothian area.

Dr. Bennett has a wonderful bedside manner and really seems to genuinely care. He does not rush through his appointments. Highly recommend.

Dr. Bennett is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients and he listens to what I have to say instead of just making a decision without talking/listening to me. I am grateful for his practice and willingness to partner with me in my healthcare rather than just throw medication at me and move on to the next patient. Keep up the great work Dr. Bennett!

I have been a patient here for 5 years. I find Dr Bennett to be a very knowledgeable, friendly and thorough doctor. He speaks to you like a person and explains details to put you at ease. I have never felt rushed in my interactions. I have also had positive interactions with the nurses at the practice. The front desk staff is fine, they are efficient and get the job done.

The staff was rude. I hope they don't manipulate my personal information as well. The woman by the desk was like she was the queen of sava. She acted like she was doing us a favor or something like that. I noticed they hate LATINOS in here. Don't go there if you are LATINO. The doctor Bennett harassed me inside the office and the staff acted like they were in a soap opera. If the doctor has time to attack the patients , then he is not worth it. What unprofessional people.

I went with my wife to this place. The staff was rude. They look like they are racists toward Latinos. I noticed the bad education. The doctor came out harassing me. I would not recommend this doctor at all.

I called the emergency line for a serious GI issue because my medicine was not at the pharmacy even tho Midlothian Family had confirmed it was. Dr. Bennett was the on-call physician. I explained my situation to him and my frustration not being able to get medication. Instead of offering to help me, Dr. Bennett became very imptient, condescending and was not initially willing to offer a solution. I would hate for anyone with a serious health issue to call and get this experience with him.

A fine and caring experienced GP who is always is there when you need him or call him.A big part of his practice is his MA miss April ??

I've been with Midlothian Family Practice (VA Physicians,inc) for around 20 years. Dr. Barnes was my doctor but he left the practice. I chose Dr. Bennett as my doctor and I've had him the past 3 years. My visit today was terrible. I discussed with Dr. Bennett a letter I received from the whole practice about how my information had been compromised by a front desk employee. She had taken a picture of my personal information and shared it to Snapchat. I also explained to him how several months before I had emergency gallbladder surgery in May 2017, I had told him how my stomach had been bothering me and he never addressed it. He stated to me, "Well, you always come in with like five things going on." Isn't this what insurance and my co-pay pay for? Needless to say I am sad that I now have to find another doctors office after twenty years but I refuse to be treated in such a manner. The professionalism of Midlothian Family Practice has dropped dramatically in the past several years.
