My daughter has been seeing Dr. Mason for almost 9 years. I adore him! He patiently listens to her and me and spends a lot of time with us during each visit. He sympathized with my vaccination concerns and worked with me on a delayed vaccination schedule (child is fully vaccinated just did it less at a time with more frequent visits). My daughter had to begin prescription medication and it was expensive. He came up with an alternative that cost zero out of pocket! I am so thankful to have found him when she was born and hope he never leaves!

We just moved to the area and needed a pediatrician so we scheduled appointments here for my boys. Dr. Mason and the nurse that works with him were fabulous. My two year old was very upset he had to come to the doctors, of course, but they were very soothing with him. My son ended up coming in crying and leaving very happy. Very-very good with calming upset children. I would definitely recommend.

Dr. Mason started seeing our daughter when she was a baby and was fantastic! We were sad he moved away, but now he is back and we are beyond happy! He spends so much time with her and addresses all of our concerns and questions. He is great with our daughter and I always feel like he truly cares about his patients. He refers to them as “his children” and as a teacher I get it because I call all my students “my kids.”

We love Dr Mason. He was our doctor in 2015, then he moved away and we started seeing other doctors in the practice. They're fine, but we really missed Dr Mason. Thankfully, he came back to RVA and we got back on his patient roster.

I had an appointment scheduled for a Wednesday, got a call on a Tuesday stating I missed it, the receptionist made the appointment again for Wednesday stayed on the phone with her make sure it went through confirmation the appointment was at 10:10 Wednesday show up to the office they had my appointment on the wrong day again! Wanted me to wait an hour and a half or come back four hours later, when I called to speak to the receptionist she was beyond rude and said well what do you want me to do for you!

Love Dr Mason. He takes his time and really talks to the kids about what’s bothering them. Does an excellent assessment. Excellent for well and sick visits.

even tho my appt was a mistake, he took time to talk about my situation and rx'd the med i needed and agreed to take me as a patient when /if i needed spinal surgery...now it seems i do and i may be taking him up on it...he put me at ease immediately...
