List of Joseph U. Castro's Reviews
Dr Castro is my family doctor for more then 10 years. Everytime I visit him he listens carefully takes his time to go through my health. I highly recomend him.
Dr. Castro is amazing! He's funny and really listens to your concerns. He asks lots of questions to make sure he has all the information he needs to make the appropriate recommendation. He really created a safe space to ask questions and share my concerns, and I appreciate that.
He’s a wonderful Dr. Did so much to help me and I will go back when I need him. He keeps me going!
Arrogant about his ability. Rude and condescending. Asked for clarification on the time a infection to set in -he said “I wasn’t listening well enough” etc. I’d recommend someone else.
Not sure what's up with all the negative reviews. Dr Castro is a great doctor. He listens and doesn't rush your appointment. He is compassionate and knowledgeable. Which is something you don't get much of anymore. He is the only PCP I will see.
Been seeing Dr Castro for 5 years ! Great doctor, intelligent and great bedside manner. Dr Castro will recommend/push you to correct things you may not otherwise do, hes more like a coach and creates expectations from the patient. If you are a patient that doesn't like hearing from your doctor what you need to do to manage your health and longevity, Dr Castro is not for you
great
Worst experience I have ever had with a physician. He declined my pharmacist request to refill a prescription, indicating that I needed a dr visit before the script would be approved. This medication is required to be taken every day. I went 3 days without meds before I could see Dr Castro. He tried to blame the pharmacist, but I had talked to her directly. Then he blamed me for not making an appt I didn't know was required. Irresponsible, will change dr's immediately and report him.
Dr. Castro has a rude, condescending manner. When I began to explain my issues, he interrupted repeatedly and used intimidation tactics almost as if it came naturally to him. I had seen an orthopedic surgeon who had already done an assessment on my knee and told me he was almost certain the meniscus was torn. When Dr. Castro began his evaluation, he was about to literally pull at my sore knee but I refused to let him. He has no sympathy or sensitivity. That was my first and last time to see him
My worst experience was in same practice. And I had blood work done. They couldn’t even be bothered to have a nurse call me back with the results.. I called over and same group of receptionists tried to read and interpret the results. Something is horribly wrong with the practice. I refuse to even go there anymore, even though they are still my PCP

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
