List of Medexpress Urgent Care's Reviews
The nurses and physician I saw were wonderful. Super professional and very nice. They took their time explaining the process and my overall diagnosis and treatment plan. Overall pleased with the service I received. The front desk staff could use some manners.
The care is very mediocre at best. The NP there hardly examined me she was with me maybe 2 min and that's being generous and when I needed a note for work about days missed prior to going to urgent care (2 days - hello I was obviously ill prior to coming here) she refused to give me a note. They don't care about the pts one about the $ go to a different place!
Very friendly, informative and assessed and advised me well.
All the staff were great. Nice clinic.
FYI, even though their website says walk-ins welcome, if you’re a walk-in, don’t bother. They will turn you away and claim to be completely booked with appointments with hardly no one in the waiting room/parking lot and employees visibly sitting around not doing anything. They turned away my partner this evening 55 minutes before close whom is having an allergic reaction to a wasp sting and had severe swelling, claiming to be booked and there was 1 car in the parking lot. It’s clear they just don’t want to do their jobs and care for patients if it might mean they don’t get to leave the minute they close.
MedExpress will rip you off and scam you. I went here in December 2021 for a COVID test, which was free at the time, but they reported it to my insurance as both a COVID test and an urgent care visit. I never had this problem at Patient First. Even worse, MedExpress did not tell me that I was being billed for anything until June of this year, when it had already been sent to collections. I can’t even dispute it with my insurance because it has been too long. It has been the most frustrating and stressful experience because I can’t get anyone to even try to help correct this. MedExpress’ billing department is always very rude over the phone and they don’t care at all. Do not go here if you care about your money or your credit.
I went to this location today to get seen and a Cynthia at the front desk profiled me when I asked could I use a check to make my co pay she said no, I called over to the Broad st location and asked them if they take checks and they said yes that all locations do, I did call back to this location to speak to a manager and she told me that Cynthia wasn’t aware, the point is if you don’t know something that has to do with your job, ask!!! I would not recommend this location to anyone
Everyone was very friendly and professional from the intake coordinator to the medical professionals that worked hard to service me as a patient. I would highly suggest MedExpress for your urgent care needs.
I tried to walk in at 7pm, they close at 8pm. One car in the parking lot. Was turned away because the lady at the front desk said they're all booked for the rest of the day. Mind you, 1 car in the parking lot. So if you need immediate care, go somewhere else. This place will turn patients away. Disgraceful.
Very nice and courteous people was my experience there

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
