Excellent experience glad I chose this dr. Not sure why someone would offer a bad rating based on what happened outside of the Dr control

I received a breast reduction and panniculectomy from Dr. Chen. He did an amazing job!

Night before a surgery and guess who I get a call from saying that they actually didnt get an approval from my insurance company when they assured me they did and I took 2 weeks off from work. My surgery was scheduled for 2/12 @730am. So basically after following up with everyone today 2/12, I still dont have the surgery rescheduled. I had to call the surgeons office several times today just to get updates and to give them the info that they needed even though it is their responsibility to contact them. The office manager Debbie yell at me and defended that this was not their fault bc they checked Anthems website daily to see if it was approved yet.. instead of calling them like they should have when they saw that it was not approved Friday. The reason it wasnt approved is bc we decided to change the location bc I decided to get an additional procedure that i was going to pay out of my pocket for. When i told them i would like to do this procedure i told the i wanted to make sure that the location change would not mess with the approval. If it did we would leave things how they were. They assured me it wouldnt. Low and behold, I had to call at 5 tonight to find out what was going on and Debbie hung up on me when I told her not to interrupt me bc she had been interrupting me as soon as she heard me getting ready to say something. I wasnt being rude, yelling or anything. She hung up on me and I called back and left a message for Dr. Chen to call back... 742, no call back. I gave them until 7 before I called the on call number to have them page the on call dr to find out if they got me scheduled for tomorrow... no call back from them either... This practice has no intention on doing my surgery.

I was impressed with Dr Chen, he was straight forward explained about Botox. Now I have seen many plastics in the past for Botox and I have to say that the after results were amazing, I have large crows feet and they became dimished within 2-3 weeks of injection site and am going on my fourth month of still looking great, would highly recommend Dr Chen.

I was pleased with the breast reduction Dr. Chen provided and he is a visionary so he wanted his medical expertise and patient expectations meet. By far the rudest physician I've ever met. No personal skills - contemptuous, dismissive. I could say so much more. Thank God for compassionate professional.competent doctors. I know now not to believe every glowing review.
