Absolute worst experience ever had with doctor's office, and I used to live in New York City! My son had a new patient appt. I had our paperwork filled out and we were on our way, when I called at the precise time of our appt to let them know I had passed the street and was going to five or ten minutes late. The receptionist rudely informed me that she would check with the doctor, but that we would likely need to reschedule it! She put me on hold, then (once again) rudely stated that the doctor said we could not be seen that day. I expressed my disbelief at such an unfriendly policy (whatever happened to the ten minute grace period?) and she then offered to try to squeeze us in, but who wants to be treated like that? Dr. Wendy Garrity may well be a fine physician, but she and her staff have much to learn about how to treat their patients.
