Dr. Cox is an excellent, caring and wonderful doctor. However, Centra Medical Group as a whole is a nightmare. You get all the attention and care you need during your visit, but trying to communicate with your doctor after the fact is a nightmare and absolutely impossible. They are not there when you really need them or your doctor. Calls not returned; passed around to others who promise a call back, which doesn’t come and in the end, refer to to Urgent Care. This is NOT why I have a personal doctor. Love Dr. Cox. Highly unhappy with Centra as a whole.

Dr. Cox recently saved my dad’s life. My dad was released from the hospital prior to receiving a diagnosis and relapsed three days later. Dr. Cox followed my dad’s entire hospital stay online and advised us to keep returning him to the hospital until they figured out what was wrong. My dad was ultimately diagnosed with an adrenal insufficiency which is life threatening if not treated. Dr. Cox is extremely professional and caring and the entire family highly recommends him.

Arrived for new patient appt that I waited 6 months for, was told it had been cancelled...no who, why , nothing. 6 more months for new appt. he may be a good Dr but his office needs work!

Dr. Cox is warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He first asks several questions and really listens to you explain your health concerns. He then takes the time to fully explain whats going on with your body to help you understand the diagnosis and recommended treatment.
