Dr. Butler is a very experienced and caring neurologist. I've been under his treatment for almost three years of regularly scheduled quarterly visits for Restless Leg Syndrome and persistent migraines. I've had both conditions most of my life, and both were not well controlled until my treatment by Dr. Butler.

Dr. Butler is very poor about about refilling prescriptions. Two months in a row I've run out of my medication. I called the pharmacy to get my prescription refilled and was told you have no refills. The office tells me it could be 48-72 hours before the prescription is ordered. So now I have to wait and maybe go without my meds for another 3 days. Please be aware!!

told me not to worry about my meds, now i can't them re-filled. i was told i would receive a call from the nurse. after two hours, no call back. i wasted two hours. not a reliable staff.

This neurology department is assisting me more than I thought possible. I feel comfortable enough to be able to communicate exactly what I am struggling with. They provide the excellent combination of professional and compassionate.

I would recommend this Compassionate Caring Knowledgeable Doctor of Neurology.The complete staff is friendly and actually care about your health care and concerns.Dr.Butlers nurse Sue Ann is one of the most sincere compassionate nurses I've had the pleasure to have in my health corner.I can't say enough about this Outstanding Neurology Department at Riverside in Hampton Virginia.
