Horrible customer service was promised I’d be called in re to my so Ms doctors appointments even drove to Norfolk to get and pay for his records so his appointments could be expedited still no response. Highly would really not using them for any services

I was told to call back in a month to let the doctor know how this prescription is working with my daughter.I have called several times and they have not called back.All they do is take a name and number and you never get a call back.I love our doctor just not how they run this establishment.

I am extremely disappointed in Liberty Pediatrics. My daughter has been a patient of Liberty Pediatrics since her birth in 2015. Around 2021 my daughter was diagnosed with ADHD. Her father and I had a hard time deciding if we wanted to medicate our daughter. This has been a difficult time for us. In 2023 we chose to get a second opinion from a CHKD pediatrician in Williamsburg who specializes in ADHD. Since getting a second opinion Liberty Pediatrics has made it extremely difficult to get appointments. It's as if I am being penalized for seeking the second opinion. I called to make a sick appointment and was told I couldn't because she was seen somewhere else. I had to speak with the office manager and explain my situation in order to get the sick appointment. I called today 1/5/2024 to schedule a follow up to discuss the ongoing ADHD issue and was told once again I needed to speak with the office manager to schedule. I am extremely upset by this treatment. I have loved having Dr. Young as my daughters pediatrician, but maybe it is time to look elsewhere. If I would have known I had to jump through hoops to get appointments I wouldn't have gotten the second opinion. I do not recommend this office. If you get second opinions anywhere else you WILL be penalized by this practice.

This is the second time I was treated rudely by the staff receptionist who answer the phone for appointments. The staff on the phone was unnecessarily condescending, responds to you as if you are illiterate asking way too many details over phone for when you are telling her you need a sick appointment it is not necessary to barge people for too many details. Then she is not clear in what she is saying and responds with an attitude. I will call my other doctor because I just don’t like the treatment.

Doctors are great. However I waited a month to get my son’s appt scheduled after being told the manager was holding onto the paperwork to be reviewed. A month later, I called, and the manager didn’t even have the paperwork the girl was supposed to give her. Then, I called to schedule a follow up for my son and I’m pretty sure I got the same front desk person because she’s not nice at all. She fought me back and forth asking what I’m following up on and I kept telling her I just needed to schedule a 3 month follow up. Then she put me on hold just to pick up the phone and tell me the schedule isn’t made that far in advance and I said okay I will call back then. And she hung up after that without saying anything else. Not sure if this is the norm for the practice but if it is I won’t be coming back

Dr. Myer is absolutely amazing I have recommended her to friends as well they love her too she really explains and goes above and beyond for her patients! She’s so friendly with my son and does not rush through our appointments. She actually cares! My son has been going to her since he was born and has had every cold/sickness I feel like, he has febrile seizures and given this first time mom a lot of scares. I am saddened to see some of these reviews because I’ve had such a positive experience and been to the urgent cares and ers and did not have the confidence when leaving that this office makes sure I have. I have had bill issues and they took the time to explain, research and fix it, when he’s sick appointments are limited but I’m not waiting weeks to get in like other offices or an on call doctor will reach out to me, my test results are provided in a timely manner and I can not express my gratitude for how Dr Mayer has walked me off the worry cliff plenty of times!!

Staff was nice, friendly and courteous for my first visit.
