While Dr. Goodwin is a very kind individual, I do have to say that we share differences in our approach. I would say that if you are a mom that likes to try other options First before going to prescribed medication, or may not want to vaccinate your kid. This isn't the doc. For you. But I will also say that she is very attentive to her patients.

Dr. Goodwin is an excellent doctor and she's extremely helpful getting my son everything he needs, she's on top of everything (doctor's appts., referrals, prescriptions, etc.) If I'm still going to chkd practice it's because of her.

She seems like a nice provider. What I didn't like about her are the one sided horror stories she told to me to coerce me to agree with vaccination. I was extremely frustrated with the lack of options/medical advice given to encourage wellness for my infant. Her main focus seemed to be vaccination. I didn't leave the office feeling like I was informed either way I should choose to go (to vaccinate or not to vaccinate). I feel comfortable with routine visits but not for medical/professional input on overall wellness.

This woman completely failed my son. He suffered from countless ear infections, difficulty hearing, and speech delays. She has no regard for a child's suffering or a parent's concern. Obviously we decided to find another doctor. After a tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, he is doing quite well and he finally has relief from the pressure on his ears.
